My brand new washing machine had water inside it. I asked flipkart for the reason.\nI got a call from IFB warehouse explaining it was due to QC before dispatch.\nThe IFB guy, Mr. Gopala, who came for demo was very helpful and patient. He answered all my questions and demoed the product well.\nThe machine is working fine and expected. I am keeping one star reserved for the post sales service. If it is good I will update it to 5 star after watching for couple of months.

Washing machine is too good. But, flipkart delivery service is pathetic. Product delivered after 1 month of order.

Machine delivered and installed earlier. Safely transported. Machine doing well in 1 month ownership. Capacity 6.5 kg seems a bit smaller as there is a projection inwards in back of drum.My previous 5 kg Whirlpool machine seems more spacious and robust lasted 15 years .Ifb is much lighter.Hope it will be durable.

Well, it is a good product, delivery was prompt and installation was also done fine. Water consumption seems moderate and the washer functions smoothly, however certains things has to be made clear before anyone order. \nFirst, the wash programs take lot of time to complete. A proper wash cycle be it cotton or mixed soiled takes 1.5-2hrs and with additional functions like rinse hold or pre wash, this time increases. \nSecond, though it is a 6.5kg washer, not all programs support 6.5kg load. As I mentioned, mixed soiled takes about 1.5hr to complete but it supports only 3kg load. Similarly express wash with 15 min wash time takes only 2kg load. \nThird, once you select a wash program and start the wash cycle, you cannot change the wash program in between. You can change the spin speed and you can pause and add more clothes if you want, but if you want to change the wash program then you have to power off and power on again. \nIf you are a family of 4 or more, I wouldn’t suggest this to you. \nOtherwise it works smoothly, noise levels are less and vibrations are not there during spins.
