The media could not be loaded.
Brand Installation was delayed by 2 to days. I had to call service center toll free number twice t get the washing machine installed. After installation next day we started the washing of clothes but noticed spillage of water from one corner of the leg of the machine body. After opening the back cover we found a damaged drain pipeline which was leaking..stopped using the machine as it may cause electrical hazard..as water was leaking ner drain motor.

I purchased this item for my parents on diwali but seller/manufacture ruined the festival as I received defective piece as confirmed by IFB installation team that cleaning tub is fixed of higher side from 9kg which I need and ordered. So I have to purchase from market the same product because on same area replace was not possible. it was really a bad experience with Amazon. And I request to team they should check once before dispatch of anything.

When ifb representative come for installation. He finds some trash and lint in the filters.

We purchased IFB 9.5 kg top load washing machine. In the last 2 years since we purchased, its capacitor has failed 3 times. The technician who came to fix it informed us that capacitor failure is a big issue with IFB machines. He mentioned that it is because the heavy capacitor is ‘loosely’ attached to the rotating drum and at high speeds it detaches and hits side walls before failing. I think the issue is very serious because last time when it failed they said there are no more capacitors available for replacement and they have to ship it from outside. We are in Mangaluru, a reasonably big city with huge customer base, so I was surprised that they ran out of parts so quickly. It took a few days for the replacement part to arrive.

Recently bought this machine. Look wise very attractive, though it is very expensive but it worth when it handles all its functions very well. Happy with this machine till now. Will update after 6 months again.

Me and my parents and relatives, bought the same washing machine model, and are quite happy and satisfied after using it for 2 years. Overall wash quality of clothes is good, and both the product and service is good. Technically, we only faced 1 small issue, that I have mentioned at the end. But I would surely recommend this if you are looking for large-capacity washing machines. IFB’s service level is also satisfactory.
Things needed to manage / maintain your washing machine: Machine cover, tub-cleaning powder, water filter. 1) Due to the size of the machine, I have not been able to find a cover that fits this properly, except the one sold by IFB. May be you can find it somewhere, but I had to use the IFB one only. 2) Tub cleaning powder is effective; so definitely buy form IFB and use. 3) IFB technician suggested to use/install a water filter on the water intake pipe. It is needed in areas which have hard-water. So, it’s up to you if you think it is required.
Issues: In one of the machines, we faced the issue with lint removal; it seems to be stuck on clothes rather than properly filtering through the filter provided. The technicians came twice to check, even changed the filter without cost. That said, I am still satisfied with the product.
