Ravindra Nath Gupta –
In this review I shall be as honest and unbiased as possible. The MRP of this product is about 7.5K and I got it for about 4.1K in recent Amazon sell that included further 10% discount on credit card. So in principle I am happy with my purchase.
Pros – Variety of attachments, blades, availability of Chutney Jar, 700W power. Fail safe mechanism to minimize (thought it may not always prevent) possible accidents.
Limitations – The product does not have a sleek finish. At places it feels like manual drilling or cutting is done. It does not have a nice smooth machine finish. The liquidizer jar cap in my case is too tight as a result it does not rotate to lock in place, but being so tight lock is not required at all. Still a small gap remains at the small beak made on the diameter. So we need to place our hand on it else, the liquid may slightly come out in small drops. Also overall locking of processor jar is not a very smooth and light operation. Sometimes you need to push using both hands to lock it in place.
Cons – The user manual is very basic, not explicit and very small. A larger manual with more clear pictures is needed and also appropriate warnings what if a wrong attachment is or bowl is used. E.g. out of the two processor lids, one is only to be used with juicer and nothing else and other one is for all chopping, kneading etc. This processor bowls lids part does not seem to have a better fail-safe mechanism.
Conclusion – This product is not worth MRP of 7.5K but for 4.1K that I spent on it, it’s value for money and acceptable quality. In case you need to buy it at MRP, opt for higher quality brand.
Improvements and further research – Improvement in locking mechanism of Liquidizer jar is highly recommended. Further there must be some sort of belt between mixer and processor rotors. When you run Mixer the processor blade also rotates. A mechanism can be invented to ensure that when mixer bowl is locked in place, the power will not get transferred to processor jar. This will reduce power consumption and noise. I request Amazon to pass this feedback to Inalsa RnD Team.
Attachments can be numbered (specially the rods that fit on to the center rotor, in processing bowl) so that you will not place a wrong attachment anywhere.
Overall verdict – Acceptable quality for price upto 4.5K. Those on tight budget can certainly opt for it. If your budget is relaxed, look for higher end brands. Do assess your requirements in advance. Chances are that you may never actually use all attachments. It’s just a feel-good factor that you have a modern food processor.

Amazon Customer –
I bought this product basis the rating it has received but unfortunately the product I received was a defective one. The processor was not operational at speed 1. This was REPAIRED by the person who came for a demo and installation.
Secondly every now and then the machine stops and we need to reset the same which was never happened with a different brand I had purchased earlier.

The machine works decently well however, the fixing of the largest jar is tough and the quality of the jars is not good, it does not feel sturdy. Moreover, the smallest jar does not have a handle which makes gripping it difficult.
Not too bad overall, but the jar quality must improve

Good product
Amazon Customer –
I received defective product twice from Amazon. One at the time of fresh order and then after replacement. After that I directly contacted INALSA and within 3-4 days they replaced the product and now it is working fine. So friends “discount ke chakkar mein na padke direct company se purchase karo’ sahi product milega. Its my experience. Rest upto u.
Ravindra Nath Gupta –
We had been using an Inalsa food processor (shown in the first diagram) since over about 20 years and were quite happy using it, before we decided to buy a new model (shown in the later diagram). We are still retaining the older unit – as a back-up, becuse we don’t feel like selling it off.
The older processor did undergo replacement of the motor, breakage of the lock on the lid of the processor and due to that, I, being an engineer, opened the black cover and bypassed the switch that was being pressed by the extension in the processor’s cover.
Thereafter, we have been operating it through the rotary switch at the front. However, the older unit, being a single, direct driven unit, made lesser noise and kept working smoothly, except that with time, the rubber feet in the base became hard and did not stick to the kitchen slab, plus the electrical cable became hard and gave way at one place and was rectified by me.
Since I was involved with providing “technical support/training/documentation” in my last job, I felt that both,
(a) design and (b) documentation of the newer model could have been done with a little more attention to the end-users. For example :-
(a) In today’s scenerio, hardly a few persons (like me) bother to read the user manual, especially if the font, pictures etc. are not colourful and eye-catching. Why not replace it totally with a video (an attempt has been made here too, but it seems to have failed to educate the users, who are complaining of the machine being “non-functional”/”inoperative”.
(b) The design makes it imparative for the user to keep both switches closed (one operated by the cover/blender and the other by the lid on the food-processor), for the motor to function. This requirement is not clearly understood by many of the end-users, who seem to be apprehensive about this machine.
(c) In order to overcome the issue raised in point (b), a click-locking flip-cover, with a hinge could have been provided (since chances of the buyer misplacing this cover are quite high). When closed – this flip-cover could activate the switch. Else, with the cover remaining open, the blender/grinder could activate the same switch. It would have made the instructions related to this requirement quite easy-to-understand.
(d) Just as a piece of information, the locking of the processor unit requires quite a bit of force. Most first-time users would be apprehensive about using this amount of force, lest the unit cracks. The main reason for this is also that “breakage of plastic parts” is not covered under the warranty. This is probably the main reason, why many users don’t turn the cover of the processor and the locking/activation of the switch doesn’t take place, causing the motor to “not start”.
However, we are quite happy with both these units and since my wife bakes cakes and loves to cook a lot, the processor is being put to good use.
Thank you.
