Aveg Mital –
Sound quality is good not excellent. But anc at this price range is excellent.
ARSH JARORA –
This was a really good product untill my right earbud stopped working within 9 months of purchasing. This issue is very common and I am trying to get support on the same . Will update in few days.
Aditya –
I have received Jabra Elite 4 Active as a gift.
Call quality is good.
I generally use these earbuds in gym and Music quality is also good but base is not too heavy however you can increase it little bit from the Sound+ app.
ARSH JARORA –
I used it for one year now. Easy to use and very good for listening to music. But not good for attending calls.
Also one side stopped working after one year. It work sometime and will not work sometime. Really annoying.

CONS :
I bought it second time as I lost one bud .
Jabra could not give extra one bud when I contacted customer care .
So I ha DTO buy the whole set again .
Takes more time for auto connect to iPhone .
Pros :
Excellent ANC at this price
Amazing sound quality that’s why bought it again

I Always wear them on my runs, superb sound quality. Noise cancellation is good, could be a little better. Hear through is good, I run on the roads so hearing the traffic necessary. They fit tightly in the ear and do not cause any pain or discomfort even after 5 hours. I haven’t tested the battery to its fullest yet.
It is not good in on stomach positions like pushups and planks. During those it almost always falls out.

Jabra elite 4 active is a decent anc earbud
But after 7 months of use my right earbud is having issues with audio. The left earbud sounds and works perfectly but the right one’s
audio is low compared to the left one and the battery is draining way faster on the right earbud.

It pairs very quickly with whatever device I’m using. The sound quality is very good for the price I’m paying. Having 4 mics makes it great for calls. Noise cancelling is lightly above average, just what you would expect from a medium range earpiece. Being a user of earbuds with touch controls, it took me a while to get used to the pressing of the button on the Jabra. Would be great to have in-ear detection though, but for this price, I’m very happy with this. I have not tested it in an exercise environment yet though.

I purchased in the last week of June 2022. Waited a couple of months of usage experience before actually writing a review. So this review is going to be long and mostly fair (good and bad things).
First, the good news…
1) Looks elegant and sleek. Very good design, fits the ear perfectly – this is subjective and depends on the ear shape though. Luckily for me no fitting issue. They also have provided 3 sizes of ear cushions/pads/whatever it is called to fit different ear canal sizes. Those are silicone material (durable and flexible).
2) Good sound clarity, bass effects not the best (if I have to compare it to Jays or Bose) but given the price tag, I would say it is quite worth it.
3) Jabra Sound+ app gives a great deal of access and customization to L&R button functions and personalizes your hearing experience based on your hearing strength, ambience mapping etc.
4) I like the black color. It is not glossy and has a good matte finish and a good grip (speaking only about earbuds).
5) I had an issue with my left earbud (it was still ON even after keeping it in the charging case). I contacted the customer service and it was prompt and they guided me thru the whole process thru email in a matter of 2-3 business days (I’d say that is prompt given some worst cust-serv I have experienced in my lifetime).
6) Battery life and capacity is good. Definitely not as advertised (those are figures under controlled laboratory conditions, those can never be achieve in real life). It also depends on what are you listening to, at what volumes, etc. But you can safely expect at least 3-5 hours under a single charge. You can charge from the charging case for 3-4 times before the case itself needs to be charged.
Now for the negatives… Not so much negatives but more like managing your expectations given that this is a mid-range value product.
1) First off, the charging case is NOT as skid-resistant, firm grip as advertised. It is very slippery and smooth. Also a risk of scratches if you keep it in your pocket with things like keys and coins.
2) Point number 5 of positives. While the customer service is good I didn’t expect the left earbud to have an issue within 2 months of purchase.
3) Jabra Sound+ app connection keeps disconnecting after some inactivity (earbuds on, music still playing, but Sound+ app is exited).
4) Right is the master earbud and left is a slave. Keep that in mind. If you want to use either one, the other needs to be placed in the charging case. On/Off, Pairing, Single Bud use etc. instructions are mentioned in their user manual but they are really complicated. Not at all intuitive and almost every time you need to browse the manual should you have to perform any of these functions.
5) The function button is concealed under the space where the Jabra logo is, on each earbud. Off hand, the left earbud button gets used more (for Vol Down, ANC, Hear-through etc.), I noticed that the outer covering is slightly puffed for the left earbud on the button location (after 2+ months of usage). Doesn’t look uniform when you placed the L & R side by side. Not a major functionality issue, but more of an aesthetic one.
6) ANC isn’t very powerful tbh. Don’t get me wrong… it’s good, blocks most sounds in your surroundings (normal room ambience, gym ambience). But imagine a high decibel surrounding (e.g. mixer-grinder on full swing, high TV volumes, a room being vacuumed, etc.).
7) The silicone earbud covers are slightly difficult to remove in case one wants to change to a different size of these covers.
8) The case (from inside) and the earbuds themselves are prone to dust particles. Need constant maintenance and cleaning (at least once a day if not after every use).
9) The charging cable is really short (like max 12 inches, I think).
10) The bluetooth range isn’t great and the sound starts cracking or getting disconnected in about 10 meters. The same happens if there is also a wall encountered between the smart device and the earbuds, even if within the distance range.
That’s all I can think of now. This is my near 3-month experience of using the product.
My final verdict is: go for it, worth the money, but don’t expect miracles in sound and maintenance – in India, we neither have completely silent ambiences nor do we have completely sterile and dust-free environments. So if they don’t live up to your expectations on these two fronts, it wouldn’t be entirely accurate to blame the product alone.
Nishant Bhatyal –
Great and clear sound
