Jabra Elite 7 Pro in Ear Bluetooth True Wireless Earbuds + Wireless Charging Pad – Active Noise Cancellation, Compact Design, MultiSensor Voice…

Have been using these buds for more than 6 months and honestly they are not worth the price. Let me explain some of the issues I faced and facing with these buds.

Unreliable behaviour:

Earbuds have some serious reliability issues. One day they work flawlessly and on another day they wouldn’t connect to the phone. Even when they connect, sound doesn’t come through the erabuds.

Jabra doesn’t like Windows or Windows doesn’t like wireless earbuds. I can’t figure out why. When I connect these on my win11/win10 laptop they work fine for some time then one earbud would not work. Then that earbud would not work for prolonged period of time that you doubt it has gone, however when you keep the buds in the case for several hours and they work again. They are completely unreliable for work calls. Ironic that Jabra is synonymous for work/productivity calls.

Active Noise Cancellation is a joke in this earbuds. They are simply non-existent. For a wireless buds costing this much money this feature should work flawlessly.

Jabra software support and customer support is also non-existent. They dropped a firmware updateast year for multi point connection but that doesn’t work well all the time. Customer support is just an email address with tons of unread emails.

I paid around ₹20k for this earbuds with wireless charging case and extremely unsatisfied with the product. It is just suitable for casual music listening, short phone calls and that’s about it. Most of ₹1k wireless buds does a better job in that.

If you are considering buying Jabra products please look elsewhere. Their reputation and brand is pretty much gone and Jabra Elite 7 pro earbuds is an example.

I’ve been using Jabra Elite Active 75t since it was launched in India, bought one pair for myself & another for my Wife, really good experience so far(both of us), especially for Meetings during this pandemic, listening to Music is a feast, Sound+ app is excellent, build quality is top notch, since we are at home most of the time noise cancelling doesn’t matter much, minor software glitch still exists, however, it’s not a big deal, we can live with it. I use it at least 6-7 Hours every day, from starting my day with workouts & wrapping up my Meetings till late evenings.

With that excellent experience in mind, I thought of upgrading to Jabra Elite 7 Pro for their advertised Powerful ANC & more clear Calls even under windy environment, to start sharing my experience with these buds so far:

Pros:
1. Excellent call quality indoors as well as outdoors, however, ANC is not great as advertised, the other person can hear my voice clearly, background noise still exists to a large extent, I haven’t got a chance to test them under windy environment.
2. Balanced Music listening experience, however, I still prefer my Elite Active 75t over these!

Cons:
1. Right earbud stopped working within a week, lucky me, it was under replacement window, got them replaced.
2. Bad build Quality, I’m still in shock, never expected this from Jabra, Charging Case makes weird noise while opening, physical buttons on these earbuds are somewhat not properly aligned, right button wobbles a little bit.
3. Lot of software bugs! I hope they’ll fix them soon.

Really disappointed!

They have promised Bluetooth Multipoint, let’s see if they’ll keep it. I hope they don’t back off like they did with Elite Active 75t by not updating them to work independently(It’s not important to me, still..).

For now, I’m keeping them only due to their 2 years warranty, in case my earbuds fail again at least I’ve a chance to raise the issue & get it replaced. Though, It’s not an easy experience, just go through reviews under “Reddit” site on replacement experience, fingers crossed!

Final thoughts: Huge Quality Control failure from Jabra, not worth the premium price tag, they have launched this product in haze, only they know what was the hurry!

■充電ケース・本体
コンパクトだと思います。手のひらサイズです。
ただ、カナビラ等をつけるところはありませんので、カバンの中にしまっておく必要ありかと。
ケースそのものはとてもシンプルなデザイン (色気が無いといえば無い)
意外と固いの片手でケースをあけるのはちょっとしんどいかも。
ワイヤレス充電はケースを上に載せるだけで充電されるので便利。

■音質(個人的な主観を多分に含みます)
低音～高音までバランスよく聴こえます。
専用アプリで聴こえ方等々をカスタマイズ可能。
またイコライザー（プリセット、カスタムも可）があるので自分好みにセッティング可能。

ANC(アクティブノイズキャンセリング)はそこまで強力ではないと思いますが
今まで使ってたものは地下鉄ではボリュームを上げないと厳しかったけど、
本器はANCをONにしておけば、特に音量を上げなくてもしっかり聴こえますので
やはりそれなりに効いていると思います。

また、ヒアスルー(外音取込機能)をONで車内アナウンス、走行音もしっかり確認できます。
(外の音をマイクで拾ってイヤホンから出力しているので若干不自然な感じがあります）

ANCもヒアスルーもオフにできます。
(イヤホンそのものの遮音性もけっこう高いと思います)

■BT接続
安定していると思います。

今までのものはブチブチと切れることがありました。
ホーム上、駅員さんのワイヤレスマイクを使っている側を通ると
必ずとぎれとぎれになりました。
本器ではそれがありません。ストレスなく、快適です。

試しにスイッチに接続してみましたが、気になる遅延もありませんでした。

以前、耳に引っ掛けて使うタイプを購入したら私の耳には合わなくお金を捨てただけでしたが、これは耳の形はあまり関係ない感じで私の耳にもフィットしました。スマホで使用していますが、LINEで通話中に電話の方に着信が入ると自動的に着信の方に切り替わってしまうのが少し不便ですが、それはスマホの設定なのかもしれません。
