Tristan John Navarro –
I was previously trying to get a “jack of all trades” device that would serve as my headset for work (Teams, WebEx) and personal (Zoom, cellular calling) calls as well as listening to music and entertainment. I failed miserably as nothing checked all the boxes. However, once I decided to separate these tasks, I found success.
This headset really is phenomenal. When used over standard Bluetooth (with my phone), it works as a good quality headset with good features (love side-tone, mic cancels out background noise, etc), but when paired to my laptop via the USB dongle, it really shines for digital calling. The signal never every drops, and I can walk around just about every nook and cranny of my 1,500sq ft townhome, even 3 floors away from the laptop and the opposite side of the unit. Inbound and outbound audio is very clear. Occasionally the mic picks up a bit of sibilance but adjusting it further from my mouth helps. Having both a mute button and flip-up-the-boom-mic-to-mute is amazing, as is the red LED on the USB dongle when I’m muted. Love it.
The main drawback is comfort. I can wear them for an hour or two at a time before my outer ears start to fatigue, and the headband rarely wants to stay in one place on my head. I do have to adjust (pick them slightly off my head and re-seat them) semi-regularly to resolve these two things. However, the overall experience is so good that it’s worth this effort and slight discomfort. There’s never a perfect solution, sadly.
The battery life is absolutely amazing–I literally charge them once a week and they last me though an average of around 2-4 hours a day of meetings (sometimes more, sometimes less) with power to spare at the end of my Friday.
I don’t use them for media playback (as hinted at in my intro), only tried a few short YouTube videos and they were adequate for short use like that but not something I’d put on to listen to music for more than one track.

I liked the overall quality of the build. Everything looks very solid.
The headphones’ sound quality is good. I can hear a bit of white noise coming from the mic. but it’s not too loud. I would say the mic quality is below of Logitech H600 I am switching from.
I have “hot” ears and generally, all headphones become uncomfortably hot after a while. These ones are not an exception. In fact, it becomes too hot after about 30 minutes. I just wish they had a bit more ventilation.

Super headphones. Liked everything about Jabra headphones. Crystal clear, good wireless range, ease of operations vwith mute snd unmute so easily crafted. Work great with many apps like Teams, zoom etc

I purchased this headphone as part of the WFH. Till now not found any drawbacks of the headphone.
Battery life is great. At present I am charging twice a week. However if there are less calls to attend in any week then, the battery gives me one week. Awesome battery life. Sound is great, tested it with you tube, beats and finer sounds coming off great. Microphone is great with no issues during con calls. Great part is that the usb has light indicators, so basically you can see if its on standby, or in calls or muted. I use skype, MS-Teams and video calls via Zoom. No issues with all the three interfaces.
Overall this is a great product from Jabra.

Sound quality is awesome and batter backup is very good though it’s pricey.

Mic stopped working within 2 months of purchase, support asked me to do self diagnostic for a month and now waiting for replacement since month and half. Every time they come with new excuse .
Pros
– Great sound quality
– Sturdy build
– Type C Dongle
Cons
– Not comfortable over ears
-Mic can be only right side always
– less features compared to competition ( I am using Plantronics for last 2 year, Voyager Focus B825)
– no Charging station, only type C cable

This headset made a great impression initially. It’s made of high quality materials, looks sleek, and has useful busy light indicators. Outside of aesthetics, this headset failed to meet my needs. For reference, I’m a WFH call center employee who handles about 25-40 interactions daily.
MICROPHONE (the deal-breaker):
I have an older Plantronics USB headset that was sent by my employer, and the noise cancellation on the microphone is stellar (will circle back to this point). As soon as I switched to the Jabra Evolve2 65, the background noise in my office was heard on every call with customers and coworkers (I could tell because my customers would stop talking mid-sentence if something was going on around me). My office is relatively quiet during the day, with the exception of my computer being next to a window, which generates the most noise. After my shift, I made recordings on the Plantronics headset, and compared to the Jabra headset. The Jabra mic picked up regular typing on the keyboard, cars passing by outside (I’m on the 4th floor of my building), my fish tank water pump trickling, my Frenchie’s paws pitter-pattering across the carpet, soft music playing, a TV set on low volume IN THE NEXT ROOM, my son talking to said TV set in the next room, etc. If I could hear it, the mic picked it up. The wired headset effectively cancelled out all mentioned background noise, with the exception of (intentional) obnoxious typing on the keyboard. I immediately packaged the Jabra headset and requested a return.
***I watched tons of mic tests on YouTube and did days worth of research before buying. I saw the complaints on Reddit and in the reviews, but I stubbornly hoped that it wouldn’t happen to me (the mic tests on YouTube are so convincing). Do not be stubborn like me. If you depend on this headset mic to cancel even the slightest ambient noise, you will be disappointed.***
COMFORT:
The headset is initially comfy, but after 45 minutes of wear I was adjusting it constantly. I’m an averaged sized woman with an above average sized head, ha! My head is not humongous, but let’s say I have a big brain, lol. There was a weird pressure at the top of my head, under the cushion of the head band. The ear cushions were super plushy at first, but that plushiness eventually led to my ears feeling the plastic underneath. After about 3 hours of wear, I too experienced my head beginning to hurt from the pressure.
AUDIO:
The audio on this headset is excellent. I loved the different tone and voice options that are available through customization in the Jabra Direct app. All notifications sound very pleasant. I was able to hear my customers and coworkers when in Webex, even on lower volumes (my preference). I liked that the headset seamlessly integrated with Webex; I could mute/unmute myself by simply raising/lowering the microphone. I briefly listened to music and found it to be acceptable, but music listening is not my main intention for buying.
All-in-all, I cannot recommend this headset. It’s lasted in my home for less than 24 hours. I worked only half a shift with it and have decided that it’s unacceptable, despite its wireless capabilities.

Very poor connection with my laptop. Also, i bought it at $347, one week later the price had dropped to 220+. Very disappointing.
