Very comfortable single ear Bluetooth headset.
I use this headset primarily for work using a company laptop working 100% remotely and heavily utilizing Microsoft Teams.
I already have a Logitech stereo 2 ear noise cancelling wired headset that I use when I am parked in front of my desk. The purpose for purchasing the Jabra headset was for those times I must step away from my desk, have one ear able to hear my surroundings but still have on ear on the call.
It does this very well.
The single ear speaker provides very good sound on the call. I can hear voices clearly and sharply with no “tinny” or echo sound. I also was told by those on a call that my voice comes through clearly at a good volume level.
A large part of my job involves being on bridge calls for long periods of time with many people so it is CRITICAL that I know when I am on and off mute. This headset does VERY well giving me multiple options to turn mute on and off either in front of or away from my laptop (Ex. grabbing a quick bite in the kitchen or when nature calls). Additionally, it gives the option of displaying a red light and even can occasionally play a tone in your ear (that only you can hear) to remind you that mute is on. (NOTE: All of these settings can be turned on or off according to your preferences using the JABRA software.)
The Bluetooth range is the best I have found on a wireless headset.
I use this headset on a work computer so I am not permitted to install software for security reasons.
If you have the same issue, I HIGHLY recommend you install the JABRA app on your phone, connect to the headset from your phone, go through settings to personalize your headset, update the firmware, then reconnect to your work computer.
I very much like that the headset can receive firmware updates. This means that it can continuously be improved (from a software perspective).
I also like that the Jabra can be connected to 2 different devices simultaneously, so one minute I am using it on work calls on the laptop, then next minute I am using it for calls on my smartphone.
Bottom Line: YES, the price is much higher than those $40 headsets you can also find on Amazon, but this headset blows all of them away. In this case, you get what you pay for.

This headset is a bit expensive, however, it does work as advertised. Every MS Teams feature that is listed in the description is working for me on Teams and I have not had any issues. Battery life cannot be beat. The mono version is a bit heavier than what I am use to, but overall is still pretty comfy. I love the leather of this headset vs foam of other headsets. As far as setup goes, I plugged in the Bluetooth USB adapter, turned on the headset, and the headset paired without any intervention. I did install the Jabra Direct software after everything was up and running so that I could get the latest firmware upgrades and view my battery life in the system tray.

Would expect better build quality and comfortability for the price tag. Maybe a gaming headset can be good alternative.
