Superb product. Movies are like watching in a theatre. Bass is just shattering everything, normal living room can’t increase bass over 20 at max, might break glass. Connects with sub just like that, superb connection awesome stuff. Love it.

It’s a must but product if you looking for best soundbar, I m using for my LG 55 inches TV, and my hall size is 180SqFt, it’s providing me almost 80% theater feel. and sound quality is very clear and crispy…. I disappoint with Remote Wich is not working in 6-9 meter range. you have to use the remote under 3-5 meter range only… so it’s awesome soundsbar must buy product…. one most important disappoint is LG TV magic Remote not work Soundbar remote. all the time you need to use both remote. but I m happy with soundbass quality.

1st things 1st let me tell you about the build quality. Feels a lot premium compared to other brands. Sound clarity is awesome with floor shaking bass. I dont understand how a guy gave negative on such a beauty. If you are worries of vocals try keeping sorround on. Lastly, people go for it you dont get a better one than this. Best used with Dolby atmos enabled phones via bluetooth like I use S10plus.

To purchase a soundbar we need to first have a basic understanding of a few things. Please bear with me for the long review but worth reading once and for all.\nDue to limitations of words , I am cutting it short.\n\n1.)\tThere is no perfect sound system for all homes as most of the houses don’t have proper acoustic designs.\n\n2.)\tSoundbar can never replace a home theatre as all the left , right and centre channels are closely arranged in a single bar .\n\n3.)\tThe greater number of drivers or speakers the better, gives better stereo effect & audio envelope than just 2 or 3 speakers.Go for lengthy bars to be safer.\n\n4.)\tNever go for inbuilt subwoofers. Smaller inbuilt subs can never provide the bass that external subs can provide & yes you need bass for good sound effect.\n\n \n5.)\tWhat is an immersive or surround sound. Surround sound is multidimensional sound along a horizontal plane from rear & front. It does not have any vertical component to it like falling of a rock ,rain or bomb feels like its really falling from top.\nFor that immersion , we need upward firing Dolby atmos soundbars provided audio format too is atmos.\n\n6.)\t2.1, 3.1 or 5.1 or Atmos: A 2.1 system has just left right channels along with a subwoofer so just good stereo effect. For dedicated centre voice channel go for 3.1 system. A 5.1 has further 2 rear speakers for surround effect.\n\n7.)\tWired or wireless? Choice is yours.\n\n8.)\tVirtual surround systems create an illusion of surround sound via software encoding and are not exactly very effective. It often muffles the voice clarity and is not true surround.\n\n9.)\tSelect systems that can play many audio formats like dolby & DTS both at the minimum, otherwise DTS audio from bluray discs can not be played. \n\n\n10.)\tVoice vs Bass heavy systems: JBL systems produce the best heart thumping bass effects & Polk or Yamaha deliver better voice clarity. Sony & Samsung are also good.\n\nI initially purchased a Yamaha YAS 109 soundbar with an inbuilt subwoofer, but when I compared it to JBL bar 2.1, I found it to be very inferior, in the bass or the vocals and un impressive.\n\nGot JBL and here are my views.\n\nPros :\n********\n\n1.)\tComplete wireless solution for true surround sound with detachable speakers.\n2.)\tEach detachable speaker has its own battery & can support near about 6 to 10 hours of playtime.\n3.)\tAfter being discharged the rear speakers can either be plugged in the main soundbar for charging or can be separately powered via micro usb port.\n4.)\tThe package comes with complete kits and has an Auxiliary cable, optical HDMI cables and a sound calibration device.\n5.)\tSub-Woofer is completely wireless to soundbar and can be instantly connected.\n6.)\tThe bass from the 10-inch sub-Woofer is just extraordinary and ground rattling, can really shake you up, on a sudden scream in a horror movie.\n\nThe bass frequency response is from 35 Hz to 20000 Hz which is extremely moving.\n\nIn a party, it could just blow you away with its chest shaking bass.\n\n7.)\tVery strong metal chassis, so soundbar drivers are ideally protected from any physical damages. On the contrary my previous Yamaha soundbar just had a feeble canvas clothing over it where any sharp object could damage the drivers very easily.\n8.)\tThe design & looks are excellent.\n9.)\tHas plenty of HDMI ports 3 video ports, 1 ARC port & what not.\n10.)\tThe SNR is 104 dB and hence the bar can get extremely loud. A total power of 510 watts further provides the necessary audio force. \n11.)\t Length of the soundbar is very long with and can create sound separation easily at times.\n12.)\t Supports a variety of audio formats like Dolby Digital, Dolby pro logic II, DTS along with True 4K connectivity.\n13.)\t The soundbar is best suited for movies, for music a little here and there would be present for audiophile critics but to a general public it’s just awesome.\n14.)\tThe rear speaker sound can be increased or decreased from the given.\n\nCons :\n********\nNot much cons though.\n\nFinal Verdict:\n****************\nIt has pretty everything, from all accessories to various audio format supports, surround sound & vocal clarity.\n\nThe best soundbar and a treat for movies.

I’m writing this review after 5 days usage Love this product. I can feel that I’m in theatre. Especially sorround sound system and sound mode selection is awesome. I’m using this by connecting only Bluetooth no wires between woofer and bar also. Easy to install. Nice product. Love JBL. This is my 3rd JBL Product.

Awesome package at the price point. Superb sound. Bass is awesome. However make sure DTH or any other content that you pass through soundbar is HD and supporting Dolby Digital output. Aux output is just pathetic to say the least. Even works with TVs that don’t have HDMI ARC and /or Optical/digital out. You can plug everything to sound bar and connect HDMI out from soundbar to TV HDMI in and everything works like breeze.

I just bought this sound thunder.. awesome product enjoying every day. no hassle connection. as soon as you switch it on, it automatically connects wirelessly making the living room look clean free from clumsy wiring running all over spending extra time calling electrician. awesome options.. so far I cannot call out any cons. everything is good.. value for money you spend. I can get my tata sky box connected to this sound device easily with optical cable. this box comes with all cable equipment required to use it with other channel n source. overall AWESOME. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I AM A CUSTOMER WHO LOOKS FOR BEST QUALITY WITH AFFORDABLE PRICE.. N I GOT THIS THE BEST DURING OFFER SALE. I HAVE USED OTHER HOME THEATRES N THIS ONE IS AWESOME. I feel like I am in a dolby digital equipped theatre. it’s brilliant, awesome, remote is good, wires are good n wireless rear speakers are great. connectivity is hazzle free. thanks to jbl n flipkart. packing is good, arrived 1 day before.

The product is amazing but little pricey. The bluetooth connectivity is excellent and the battery life of surround speakers is 6 hrs if u use it at 50% volume. Additionally surround speakers has iotion of charging via USB charger (5v, 1.5 Amp). \nAgainst all the claims with respect to battery life of 2hrs I found 6 hrs. Hope this review will help someone.\nRegards

This system has extremely good bass. However dialogue while watching films are not that clear even at medium volume even though bass effects and surround effects like in action sequences are awesome. In my opinion it cant replace a true 5.1 system with 5 separate speaker system and bass. However overall from perspective of setting up the system and wireless connectivity its superb. Remote doesn’t feel very robust and is delayed to respond. Felt audio sync issues with TV. Trying to cope with it. If u want true blue Home theatre system in my opinion Sony etc. could be better option but are with hassles of doing wiring which is not so in case of JBL sound bar 5.1.
