After warm-up period (about 100 hours played), I love it. Initially my ears were not happy. But now, my home theatre set-up (with Denon av receiver with KEF q700 floor standing speakers and JBL 10 inch active subwoofer) remains idle since it came to my house. My suggestion: If you are not comfortable with the sound quality initially, put it in table mode (WALL/TABLE EQ switch is available on the backside). You will get a subtly suppressed sound. After many hours of warming-up (may take 15-20 days), now switch to wall mode. Write your feedback/ comments

Good build quality , awesome clarity and sharp bass not so loud at slow volumes but good when watching movies feels like theatre sound. Don’t expect booming and so much loud sound, not a substitute of JBL home theater.
But overall satisfied with it coz it’s jbl signature sound and Dolby DTS.

perfect balanced sounds… if u adjust equaliser it will boom your heart… but only thing I don’t like is its remote… it is too tiny like an old car’s dabba remote… build quality is top notch… and note one poin u have to register ur product for warranty on JBL website, so only u will able to claim any warranty from those…

Initially when you hook up the sound bar to your TV you might feel an increase in sound and quality but what happens when you keep on listening to your TV shows using this soundbar is you feel there is uneven loudness when you are listening to movies, music, different genre. The sound is actually muddy instead of clean. If you own a 43 inch/ higher inches Tv from a good brand chances are the sound will be cleaner in your actual TV but you will be fooled by the bass sound generated by the subwoofer giving you an illusion that the sound is better in this soundbar but actually it sounds muddy and only the bass response is good.
Be prepared to keep your remote control in your hand when you use this soundbar. While watching movies the vocals are very low so you will end up increasing your volume and when there is an action scene the sound will be very high and distorted then you have to decrease your volume and when you decrease your volume the vocal volume becomes very low and we can barely hear it. Initially i was using it with LG 43 inch 4k tv, the only good thing I noticed is the bass response from the subwoofer which was better than the LG TV. I need to crank the volume to more than 60 percent to hear the Vocals and even then the vocal sounds very tiny. Recently I bought a 55 inch Sony tv and the internal speaker from sony blows this soundbar out of the water so i disconnected this soundbar and I am listening to the internal speaker which is far better even the bass response is cleaner than the soundbar but not heavy but that’s ok considering the quality. Now I don’t have to constantly keep on adjusting the volume when i watch movies.
It seem like I am bashing this sound bar. I did some research for an upgrade for my soundbar and found that the issue is existing in almost all 2.1 channel soundbar irrespective of the cost. I listened to costlier soundbars from Sony 2.1 channel and still the sound imbalance is there. What you can take from this review is if you are in the market for a soundbar that sounds good for movies and day to day tv shows then most of the 2.1 soundbar will disappoint you. If your primary objective is listening to music then it will sound fine with good bass response. My advice is to go for a 3.1 channel soundbar that will have a center channel speaker only for vocal which enhances the movie watching experience multifold with clean bright vocals so you don’t need remote control in your hand while watching movies. One example will be sony ht-g700 model which is 3.1 a bit costly though where the sound seperation is good. If you are very serious about enhancing your sound quality in your home go for 5.1 channel speakers in one go instead of buying 2.1 channel soundbars and regretting buying them. Hope this review helps to make your purchase decision.
