Super system but weight is on heavier side for transportation.

For its price, there is nothing in this category which is anything like it. I love it. Thumping lows you can feel, thick mids you can sing to and tingling highs you can feel on your hair. Even at the lowest of volumes, the lows are amazing. I love it.

Overall good experience with this product but over priced.

After much research for an upgrade for my Zoook Rocker Thunder XXL, I went for JBL over Sony, as Sony does not mention the wattage (Why Sony Why?) and JBL have dual woofers for bass lovers like me.
PROs:
1. Awesome Bass, just like I liked and wished. Truly awesome!!! My Zook Rocker Thunder XXL sounds like an FM radio in front of it. Shakes windows and even my sleeping bed.
2. Effect of Bass boost button is really felt.
3. backlit buttons.
4. Very sturdy grab handle.
5. Glide wheels and telescopic handle provided.
6. Increase in wattage and so loudness is really felt on running it while connected to AC input.
7. IPX4 Splash-proof. I think Sony does not offer it.
8. Sufficient battery backup for a late night party.
9. Good PartyBox app for controlling the light show.
CONs:
1. Very Expensive at Rs. 42k. One can get similar loudness and bass in some wireless soundbars with woofer, except the light show and portability/battery at 50%-60% of the price. Sales volumes would have been more had JBL priced it around 30K and PartyBox 110 at around 20k. But of course who am I to comment. Every company has their own business model and JBL has its great brand value.
2. For some reason in my unit, the 3 buttons for Bass, Treble and Echo has no effect and they are not backlit. May be loose connection or defective unit. However, the equalizer works from the app.
3. Battery backup reduces to almost half, around 8-9 hours, if running it continuously at 60%-70%.
4. Less amount of lighting at front center, compared to JBL PB 110. Feels bad in spite of it being a higher model.
5. The telescopic handle feels flimsy and more so because of its loose sliding mechanism. Even my Zoook Rocker XXL had a neat and tight sliding handle at Rs. 6k. Does not inspire confidence. Better to lift and carry it by 2 persons.
6. The lighting effect to the beat of the sound needs a a little improvement. Sometimes it feels the lighting is disconnected from the music. I really missed those vertically dancing equalizers in the days of cassette decks and HiFi music systems.
7. Unit design is definitely not unattractive, but is plain Jane. Some people may feel wanting for better designs for showing off in parties. Sony MHC V##Ds have sharp and striking designs.
My next upgrade, if at all happens, will definitely be JBL, either PB710, PB1000 or their successor, for some even more earth shattering bass…

I have purchased 2 party box, good sound & bass, fast payring Bluetooth very good sound system…..
Agniva Pal –
One of the best Portable Sound System at this time. Could be more attractive if price can brought down to 30/35k all inclusive. Sound, Treble is Good. Bass is good but below expectations at this price point. Though Nodoubt JBl gives a tough fight to Sony and Bose given its lower prices.
