The cord is kind of stiff which makes it a little annoying because if it hits my shoulder it pushes the earbuds up and they already aren’t very secure in my ears.
As far as the earbud it’s self, the rubber curved piece is less rigid than I’m used to. It’s very soft which means it isn’t quite stabilizing the earbud in my ear as much as I’d like. I did try multiple sizes to get the best fit but these still don’t feel that secure.
As for the sound, the headphones are pretty good. The volume can go up very high and get pretty loud which I appreciate. It’s not great for phone calls though as the person on the other side may start talking louder which comes through as painfully loud. I haven’t had that issue with my JBLs. Any sort of breeze comes through as very loud for other person on the phone.
They’re not bad headphones but given the variation in volume and the lack of comfort/ stability they’re probably one of my least favorite Bluetooth headphones. I brought them to the gym with me once and was annoyed by them the whole time.

The JVC HA-ET65BV-B headphones produce a very good sound! The more I wear and listen the better I like them.
However, there is a frustration factor to avoid…..lack of information.
The Bluetooth Headphones are provided in a very nice compact package with everything in extra accessories you need to fit most people. The written material and diagrams are VERY minimal. Use that material to easily connect to your device while you search out and review further details. There is a small Icon ( QR Code ) focus your camera on that code to bring you to the expanded details of your new headphones.
You can begin to enjoy all of its features as there is a complete Manual explaining in detail each function, how to access and even Trouble Shooting if you have a problem. I experienced no problems.
To Pair the Headphones with your device(s) is simple and easy. Have Bluetooth activated and Push the Center Button on the control until it flashes Blue/Red and then choose JVC HA-ET…….. on your device. If you want to switch for example from tablet to phone you simply go through the same process on the phone and it will switch.
Now we are on the phone…….. a word about operation = Easy. I received call and answered with quick push of the same center button. Clear communication was established and each could hear clearly. I tried the Siri function by pressing the button ( center ) I asked for weather and received a response very cleanly and clearly.
The Functionality of this JVC Bluetooth Headphone System has been flawless.
Sound is a primary concern. I found the definition and response of the music was excellent. The attack time of drums and other instruments were distinct. They were not muffled and the sound clear. I tried everything from Spoken word through Hard Rock and found the JVC Headphones presented very good sound. Where it fell apart for me was in the area of Bass. I tried the Bass Boost on many songs and Genres. It seemed to increase the Dynamic or brightness in the sound. To me it was not an overwhelming Bass experience.
One last thing is I tested the distance away from the device to see how the Bluetooth would stay locked. I was thirty five plus (35+) feet and three walls away and the music continued clear. The more complete manual which is available by scanning the QR Code assisted everything to fall in place and the JVC HA-ET65BV-B Wireless Headphones are a joy to use.
Recommendation Four (4] Star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

With this item the very first thing you need to do is connect the USB mini cable not to the headset, but rather to the Bluetooth device attached to the audio cord. A small issue I noticed is trying to pry out the little silicone USB mini cover from the side of the Bluetooth device. Once connected you need to plug the standard USB cable to your computer or a phone charger that supplies 5 volts. Let it do a complete charge about 3 hours. The red light will go out once charged. The next steps for pairing are very easy. Make sure Bluetooth is on the computer or phone that you intend to use with the headset. Press the center button on the headset cord and hold it until you see the light flashing red. Go back to your phone or computer and look for JVCHA-ET65BV and pair it. The flashing red light will turn blue and you’re ready to use the headset. Use the + and – signs on the Bluetooth cord to raise or lower volume. To turn off Bluetooth in the head set press center button and hold until light goes out.
Overall I like this product. I will mention a few things about listening and the use of the features with this headset. I did not test it on an iPhone, I tested on a later model Android Smartphone. Once you’re paired with Bluetooth and while listening to music on your phone, you can press the center button on the headset Bluetooth cord to pause the music, and it will open Google assistant and allow you to make a phone call from any of your contacts or send a text message and assist you along the way. Once finished, press the button again and you are back listening to your music. This worked for me every time.
As noted on the inside of the product box, there is a “Running Form Coach” app that can be downloaded and works with his headset. It has motion sensors integrated into the headphones to assist runners to analyze running techniques using this phone app.
The headset comes with 6 sets of silicon ear plug covers in small, medium, and large. The sets are in 2 separate bags. One bag has the closed ear plugs the other bag has the open ear plugs. Another bag has the ear covers in 3 separate sizes. This is important depending on how you like your sound. If you want a full spectrum listening experience with good highs and plenty of bass then use the closed sets. The open sets offer less full volume and a narrow sound spectrum.
I like the sound and the additional sizes of earplugs. With all the earplug cover options you are sure to find them comfortable and a good sounding experience. Headphones weigh in a 0.07 ounces.

I hate to say this but I’ve had nothing but trouble with these. They only turn on for me whenever they want to.. even when fully charged… and when they finally did decide to work they did not stay in my ears very well. Good for walking but not so much for jogging/running. As soon as some friction and sweat happened it was a constant struggle to keep them in. I have used other brands which were way better for exercising.
Sound quality though, these were top notch!!
I would recommend these for walking and casual use but not for serious runners.
