The color reproduction on these mini printers isn’t great…but you’re also only looking for 2X3″ prints and shouldn’t expect museum quality. The trick to getting good prints is to use the filters in the Kodak app. I get best results by first going to the “Technico” filter, then I dial it back to around 50%, then I switch to “edit” feature and brighten the image by 19 or 20. Personally, I like adding the white border in the style section then hit print. It might sound complicated but when you get used to it, you can edit and print an image in under 60 seconds.

Ich besitze das Produkt nun insgesamt seit einem Monat und ich bin mit dem Fotodrucker ganz zufrieden. Die Qualität der Fotos sind genauso gut wie bei einer Polaroidkamera. Das Fotopapier selber finde ich mit 50cent pro Papier nicht ganz so günstig, allerdings lässt sich dieses Fotopapier im Gegensatz zu Polaroidkamera-Fotopapier auf der Rückseite kleben. Die Bedienung vom Handy aus mit der App ist auch sehr einfach. Ich würde dieses Produkt trotz des nicht ganz so günstigen Preises schon eher auch weiterempfehlen!

Ok, got replacement and it worked. Hail Amazon returns! Unit needed to be fully charged before accepting firmware update. The photos are pretty amazing for something so small and without color cartridges! But they are only 2″×3″. Handy printer for memorable moments. 4 stars because I needed a second try. Leaving my old review to show my frustration.
Set up seemed easy, ha. Stuck on updating the firmware, zero progress after hours of trying. Can’t do anything without that firmware. Really disappointed in Kodak, the film legend seems to be dieing in this digital photo age. I wanted to support them, there are other tiny photo printers available. Even the manual had no troubleshooting chapter. I’m sure this will get resolved but I fear a return is in this units future, and then the waiting for a replacement. Oh yeah the review wants me to mention the picture quality……it won’t print without firmware update so I must say the picture quality is completely poor!
