No slot for media cards

This is one of the good home-pc. Don’t get me wrong, i3 is snappy and responsive. would be able to punch though day to day activities with ease. But for gaming its totally different story. With the default configuration (i3 12100 with 8Gigs of ram) gaming is kind of bad. But if you can add another 8Gigs of ram you can play few games. like forza horizon 4 with 1080 medium settings and you will get around 20fps. And the worst part is this PC doesn’t have a PCIe slot. So you wont be able to add any graphic card to this PC.

I got the Lenovo IdeaCentre 3 desktop 07IAB7 (Type: 90SM001DIN) which has Core i3 12100, 8 GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM, 256GB SSD, and Intel AX201 WiFi 6 (802.11ax) for 33.5k in May 2022. It came with Win11 Home edition and MS Office Home & Student 2021 pre-installed.
Pros:
It’s pretty snappy thanks to its fast SSD with read speeds exceeding 2GB/s. Windows loads in a few seconds and Chrome opens more or less instantly. But I don’t think it’s just the SSD. Previously, I had a 7th gen Kaby Lake processor, and this 12th gen Alder Lake CPU is noticeably faster even in basic tasks like browsing. Intel has really done a great job with Alder Lake after ~5 years of Skylake derivatives on 14nm (6th-10th gen).
This small desktop is also very quiet. I usually can’t hear the fan spin at all. Even when it does, it is quieter than the Dell boxes in my office and much quieter than the air flow focused custom PC cases.
It came with relatively little bloatware. I thought the first thing I should do is nuke the whole disk and re-install Windows from scratch, but turns out all I had to uninstall was McAfee and the Lenovo Vantage support app.
This config works very well for light-to-medium workloads including browsing, programming, and the very occasional image / video editing. Without a discrete GPU, one can’t expect much gaming performance. I’d suggest the i5 12400 if you spend a lot of time compiling / video editing, but the i3 12100 is perfectly capable of serviceable performance at pretty much any workload you throw at it.
Cons:
The major con is the absence of a DisplayPort. It has only VGA and HDMI 1.4b ports. So it can’t output 4K at 60Hz (HDMI 1.4b can output 4K but only at 30 Hz). If you have a 4K display, you should definitely look for a different desktop!
It doesn’t have any PCIe slots! I opened it up to add another RAM stick, and lo and behold, Lenovo has made a very user-hostile decision of not soldering either the PCIe x16 or x1 slots. Yes, the B660 motherboard and the core i3 12100 support PCIe 4.0 and it looks like the PCIe lanes are routed on the motherboard, but the physical slot has not been soldered on. So, even though the 260W power supply is capable of powering a low-end graphics card like GT1030, you can’t add it to this PC. If you’re at all interested in even occasional light gaming, this PC is not for you!

This pc is for beginners only not for gemmers , you can make normal tasks very well, but you can’t play heavy games and you can’t add any cards, Card slots not available in this motherboard so it’s very disappointing me,
