Pros:
1. It has a better gaming performance with RTX 3060 (130W TGP).
2. Screen is crisp with 2k display.
3. Ports at the back lets me play without any wires interrupting me.
3. Rapid charge lets you charge the laptop from 0-100% within an hour.
4. It is preloaded with windows 11 + MS office home and student 2021. You also get ‘Xbox game pass ultimate’ for 3 months.
5. Great build quality.
6. You can open the lid with one finger 🙂
Cons:
1. Sound quality is trash. Don’t expect anything from this laptop (audio quality) if u are about to watch movies or hear songs or doing any kinda audio related work.
2. Camera is there for namesake. Quality of the camera is absolutely rubbish.
3. It heats a lot while playing heavy games (high settings) since it has qhd screen the screen will be automatically set to qhd resolution. I bought a cooling pad which solved my problem.
Things to be noted:
1. Do update the microsoft store and windows drivers once u got the laptop and download ‘GeForce Experience’ app from which u will be able to download the game drivers.
2. It comes with a phantom blue color (both the hinge and the inner body). The area that covers the ports on the back, display border and air vents will be in black colour.
3. Do not play on battery power if u are expecting higher fps and performance. Always keep the laptop connected to the charger while gaming.
4. I removed the stickers since it didn’t look nice. So don’t get confused while seeing the pics I have uploaded.
5. I have changed the task bar to top, initially it will be in the bottom.

Bought at :1,19,990
Pros: 1440p display, 130Watt 3060 GPU ,Ryzen 7 5800H 45Watt (Enough to run most of the AAA titles at +60Hz),MUX Switch ,Quick Thermal mode shortcuts built into the Firmware ,165Hz screen enough for eSports gaming, 3 months of XBOX gamepass, Office home and student 2021, Every major ports included for external device, Sturdy and reliable stealthy built, Rapid Charge , Full Size arrow keys, Free sync and G sync support, 3 external displays can be connected, GPU/VRAM Overclocking through BIOS, All ways On USB port for charging external devices.
Cons: Heavy built 2.5 kg, Stilly feels buggy due to Win11, Fans goes Vroom with just a little load, Battery is mehhh, Hefty 300W Power brick is pain the arse, Speakers are not that good,Legion claims a Dolby vision display but only Stream HDR is Supported,no Use HDR supported and the Display is 8-bit SDR configuration,720p Camera.
Conclusion: Buy it you won’t regret as most the major tech Youtubers consider this the best gaming laptop for 2021. Worth the price.

Long Review alert:
I got this just before the Great Indian sale at practically the sale price. This review is based on usage of almost 20 days. That’s more than enough time to cover all the testing that is needed to check whether the product is up to mark or not.
I got the WQHD + 1TB SSD model although in the product description it was mentioned as FHD only.
Pros:
The QHD screen is really great specially while gaming and watching HD videos. Specially if you use it at its full capacity.
The Processor/GPU. Lets say no more. It does exactly what it should. The boot time is around 3s so its fast.
The keyboard is really good. It feels great to type with the keyboard.
All high end games run smoothly without any issues. I tried GTA5 highest settings, PES 19 highest settings, Far Cry 5 highest settings, and it handles them quite great. 130W GPU is a beast in this range.
Most people complain about fan noise but my unit runs quite during normal work. And it stays relatively cool.
Cons:
Battery backup is decent for a gaming laptop. I havent drained it 100% to check the total time but It would last around 4 hrs if you use it efficiently. I usually run it at 60hz refresh rate while using it on power. – Additionally if you limit it to 1080p instead of 1440p battery backup will improve.
While playing games at the highest settings in Performance mode, the CPU temps goes above 95 degrees. While playing PES it got to 100 degrees. So I usually play those games in balanced mode with the back raised to allow airflow. Temps stay around 85 degrees.
The trackpad sometimes becomes irresponsive. And apparently it is an issue that exists for all legion models. So better to use a mouse.
Screen brightness can be an issue for people using it outdoors.
1TB can be a problem for people who plays a lot of heavy games like GTA 5. 4-5 such games will take up almost 40% of your storage.
Portability is a issue. I hardly take it outside. The power brick is huge lol.
Opinion:
It definitely lives up to its name specially given the sale prices
If you are a casual gamer who likes gaming a lot, go for it blindly.
If you are looking for mid range laptop that offers great performance for any task, go for it.
If you are a student/employee who likes to code/program on the go, you might want to look at the G15/G14 as those are better for carrying around.
Before buying this I was in a dilemma whether to buy it or not, or whether to buy this or the Zephyrus G15. Luckily my choice was made easier by the price drop as the g15 2021 is still price around 1.35 l. So if your budget is higher go for 2022 models or the Pro version or g15/g14. But at this range the difference is not that big apart from the form factor ofcourse.
