Worth every penny. First of all I need to mention that I’m currently using 2 iPad (iPad 6 WiFi +4G and iPad Pro) , so I bought this chrome book for some specific use 1- surfing , video lectures, 2- I needed an android tablet (and I need to mention this that if you gonna pay for Samsung s7 or s7+ then you could buy an iPad Pro or iPad air with that money and nothing could compete an iPad, but if you ever gonna buy any android tablet then no need to look anywhere because there is nothing that can replace a chromebook running on chrome OS and surplus also allowing you to use android and Linux. )

Performance (limited)— there is a fine line between mobile, tab, laptop, desktop, so each device has their own reason for their existence, and none of them could replace any of them.
So if you have money and need beast then you already would have been looking for iPad.
If you are in some specific field/work then you already know what device you need.
But if you are a student and you gonna buy an iPad or any other tab (except iPad Pro) then I would recommend that you should go for it. It has battery, it has software update support till 2028, build quality.

* now one thing I do wanna mention that sometime there is an issue that when I attach keyboard touch and power volume button stop working even after removing keyboard so I have to put kewboard again and then reboot device using keyboard and trackpad ,and I thinks that occurs maybe due to compatibility with android (and I hope that they could replace that with software update).
One time YouTube also crashed .
So I think there is some compatibility issues with android and chrome OS, other than that as I saiad worth every penny. Have put my iPad on hold and used it as a main tablet , playing angry bird and some laptop specific task , and haven’t found any glitche.

So go for it I think every one should need a device like this irrespective of whether it’s your first one or you need one as a backup.

Pro tip: You have to buy a 7 in 1 USB hub without fail of you purchase this as it has just 1 USB C port.

Initial Impressions:

Smooth OS: No bloatware apps…The smoothness is comparable to oxygen OS of one plus phones.

Though only 4GB RAM, basic tasks face no issues including browsing multiple tabs…have worked with 5-10 tabs open with no issues…No lags observed. Probably depends on the kind of websites one needs to work on, which may be the reason why some reviews talk abt performance lag.

Very good portable device.

Detachable keyboard makes it even more convenient in terms of portability…The con of this design is difficulty in working with the device on lap though it’s not impossible.

Was in two minds regarding this since could not check it out in any retail shop and couple of negative reviews regarding slow performance made me hesitant to buy but seems good so far.

Bookmark bar available on chrome browser, right click works! unlike in case of android OS desktop mode, multiple user login feature available etc….

Pair it with Logitech K480 bluetooth keyboard and Logitech Pebble bluetooth mouse for a better experience with the device!
