Please keep in mind before purchasing this laptop. This machine is suitable for people running Virtual Machines, Heavy programming. Not at all ideal for gaming.

Pro:
1. Built quality is top notch, built to last for long time.
2. Keyboard typing is good and with backlight is even good experience.
3. Performance of virtualisation apps like VMWare is excellent (I have windows 11 enterprise edition & I run 3 Linux VM’s – 2 Dev edition windows 10, Kali or parrotos)
4. Thunderbolt port supports Dell WD19 and HP docking stations without any issues. 2 external moniters and 1 integrated moniters.
5. Good Battery life – atleast 5 hours in heavy computing.

Cons:
1. Low processor base speed.
2. RAM structure is 8GB Soldered and one slot available to upgrade upto 32GB 3200Hz. Currently on My machine it 8GB soldered and 8GB available on the slot.
3. Very bad graphic card some Intel cr*p not all recommend for gaming.

**Upgrade Options:
1. RAM: This Laptop comes with Dual Channel – 16GB DDR4 RAM’s – 8GB (Soldered on Motherboard) + 8GB (Expandable Slot) – 3200 Mhz –
Suggested Upgrade – G.Skill RipJaws Series 32GB (1 x 32GB) or equivalent.

2. SSD Slot: After my extensive research – here is the suitable SSD to avoid confusion if you are looking for adding another SSD into your machine – “2242 NVMe PCI-e SSD” –
Suggested upgrade- EVM (I purchased this and it’s decent) or Micron (Good luck finding one in decent price :))

I specifically bought this product from lenovo website and i ca say it’s key pad and looks a bit sleek compared to any bulky Think pads !

But seems to have major problems i faced like-
1. Battery- which drains so fast which you do not even expect for a new PC and i use only daily normal work not even any video editing tools etc….
2. Noise level- This is the part where it irritates at your work, it literally sounds like as though switched ON your home FAN, you can easily record laptop Fan sound from 30 cms.
3. I hate to tell this but they could have made 2 C type ports, the only one c type goes for your charge and there is no way you can connect to any c type head sets or secondary devices, i could say any cheap laptop you but they provide minimum 2 c-type ports . It’s an issue if you work on work laptops as they do not provide Bluetooth facility!!!!!!
4. Why can’t they give the fast charge in these devices and optimize the Battery !
5. Heat issues- I can tell you using this laptop is much comfortable, that much heat it will give when you do not put on a flat and a open area. If you still manages to work on a flat surface, still you will get the heat signature from the bottom and top.

My Suggestion- Go with Mac books, spending a bit more money worth the device. Been using since 2 years the batter runs for more than 8 hrs on my daily work!

If you are getting this E14 as a commercial laptop from your company, then please take some slim laptops with Intel Evo, trust me you will feel better in some aspects!

Conclusion- If you want better keyboard and a bit more powerful then got for E14, if you are ready to take all the problems i have mentioned or else go for Mac or any other intel Evo slim laptops!!!
