I ended up returning the laptop after I noticed the battery would make a weird hissing noise near fully-charged. The seller processed my refund immediately and painlessly. I did enjoy the laptop a lot while I had it, and probably intend to buy again from the same seller & in the same series laptop series.

Cons:
– The metal-feel is great, but it very easily leaves fingerprints / smudges. I’m not sure if there’s a good way to clean this off, but if there’s even a *hint* of oils on your fingers, it’ll show.
– The battery hissing near full-charge. I’m assuming this is just bad luck with my unit, and again, the refund was processed immediately, so I can’t really complain.

Neutrals:
– I almost never see a good use for the little red TrackPoint in the center of the keyboard. I’m sure someone does. It doesn’t get in the way at all when typing – it’s just there.
– The arrow keys are really small. I don’t need to use them that frequently, but they are hard to operate if you’re trying to work fast. Not the seller’s fault of course; just a quirk of this particular model.

Pros:
– Laptop is obviously super fast. In the limited time that I had it I didn’t encounter a single thing that it struggled with. Bootup was lightning-quick.
– Temps seemed good at all times, although I do a good job with external cooling so I’m not sure what the “stock” experience would be.
– Plenty of ports. I was thrown off at first by USB-C for the charger, but it makes it incredibly easy to replace if you ever need to.
– Again, the seller is pretty chill. Had zero issues getting a refund from them. If I’m in the market for a Lenovo again, I’ll be buying from them.

This laptop had the combination of specs I was looking for to replace a dying laptop at an acceptable price and with Windows 10 Pro and not 11 as the operating system and an RJ-45 port for direct ethernet connection. I was hesitant about non-intel but this Ryzen 7 is. as they say in commercials, “blazing fast”, – the unit is upgraded by GreatPriceTech to have the RAM I wanted and they added a USB hub so that the laptop only having two built in USB ports is not an issue. Shipping was prompt, unit arrived in excellent condition. Warranty is directly with the dealer and not Lenovo but so far no issues so hopefully don’t have to test that although my experience with factory warranty help is that hopefully it can’t be worse.

Bought this a couple of days back and so far I have the best experience. I should have checked earlier, but the system didn’t have any kind of SD/MicroSD so I had to buy an external one. I will provide another review after couple of months.
