Bought this to use new Lenovo IdeaPad 5 as a closed-book, under-desk solution with large monitor, separate keyboard and mouse. The power switch does not turn on the laptop as expected. I need to physically open the laptop for power-on. Pretty useless and quite expensive. Adds a few ports, but you can do that with a much cheaper docking station/port replicator. Not happy. Not recommended.

Worked fine for around 3 months. Then it stopped charging. Then it stopped working all together and wouldn’t display any output to monitors.
Called Lenovo support, when through the whole ticket issue and they had me download drivers and firmware and do a bunch of other things and never got it to work. Turns out I was in the wrong department and even through this is labeled as a Lenovo product, I needed to talk to ThinkPad support.
Called ThinkPad support and went through the whole testing crap again which none worked. Finally got them to send me a warranty replacement… Waited 3-4 weeks and nothing came so I called them back. I guess they didn’t enter it correctly in the system so the replacement was never sent. Gave them all my info again and finally got a replacement sent out after about 6 weeks from originally calling in.
Plugged in the brand new replacement docking station and it didn’t work at all!
Avoid this product and buy something else.
UPDATE 9/6/23: 2nd replacement works and they sent it overnight shipping
