The Yoga Slim 7 is another excellent laptop from Lenovo that’s well worth considering as your next upgrade: it brings with it really good battery life, decent performance, and an overall design that we find hard to fault apart from one or two minor annoyances.
Bought it during Amazon Prime Day Offer with Exchange and Discount.
Ignore the Negative Reviews as per my experience.
Thanks Amazon, Lenovo & Seller for the seamless transaction of exchange & offers given during Prime Sale Days.

Good Speed for normal office work, I usually work on emails and bit of docs, excel and other office apps.
Decent battery
Very good screen resolution
keyboard could have been a little better
very good for conference calls but not good for listening to music, I have to connect it to my bose bluetooth speakers for music

The light weight of 1.3 kg and smaller size of 14 inches has made it a very good companion. Pre-loaded Windows11 and Office Student has made it very convenient for all sorts of use. Very swift to start. But the battery life of around 4 hours is a dampener. You will have to carry the charging chord always with you. The battery always shows 99% even after full charge.

Beautiful machine. Quiet, fast, fantastic screen, good keyboard, light weight and looks elegant. The only problem I had was the Touchpad response. The scroll response on two fingers was like you have put a handbrake in car and driving, to much inertia and slow. I fixed it with a registary hack, but chat with lenovo support drew a blank. Had to do it myself after seaching the net. Unless you are familiar with regedit please do not try it , ask someone who knows. For me it worked changing the Hexa value from 32 (default) to 12 in
Computer \Hkey_Current _User\Software \Microsoft\Wisp\Touch\
After that the scrolling two finger works like a charm. Cannot blame Lenovo though as I did not see anything in windows 11 settings for Touchpad to increase scroll speed. Pointer yes but not scroll 2 finger.
Wish Lenovo does it in its driver support. I took off one star because of that. Otherwise a wonderful machine, coming from an 6 year old laptop , this machine rocks. Not a gamer so cannot comment on that.

Have been using this for 2 weeks now, below is my experience:
Pros:
+ excellent display, 2.8k OLED panel is awesome, vivid colors, very good contrast ratio, love watching videos on this device it has excellent viewing angles
+ lightweight at 1.3 kg
+ lightning fast with 16gb ram (I got this laptop specifically because it had 42xx MHz Freq ram. Other laptops have lower Freq ram ~3600 MHz)
+ super fast charging, with a very small form factor
+ Large trackpad and gesture support is good
+ Battery life is average – I’m getting around 6-8 hours with moderate use, expected around 10 hours from this device
+ Does not come with too much bloat
Cons
– downfiring speakers which are just ok – you will need to connect to external speakers/ headsets for better experience
– no backpack provided
– only 1 usb port
– does not run Linux well ( observed that xorg based distros work well, so this definitely looks like a problem with Wayland and not a distro/kernel issue) should be fixed with future updates.
– there’s no clarity on warranty registration date – default start date shows date of shipping which needs to be manually changed from Lenovo vantage app and takes 1-2 days – but this is not communicated to the user and is to be discovered on your own – a very poor experience as you could lose 3-6 months of warranty because of lack of awareness

I have been using this laptop (i5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Intel IRIS) since 15th January 2023. Overall, it is a great machine although there are a few shortcomings.
Pros:
1. Display- Accurate and Vibrant Display. I do not miss the OLED display too much as the colors produced in this IPS anti-glare display are quite punchy and up to 2.8K in resolution.
2. Keyboard- One of the finest i have come across on a device of 14 inches. Ample space between keys and good amount of key travel as well. Doesn’t make much sound. The feel of typing is also great.
3. Build Quality- Nice metal body and minimal squeaking. The metal body does get cold in a cool environment. Very lightweight and portable. I used this machine to watch movies on an 8 hours flight.
4. Thermal- There is very little fan noise and thermals are pretty much within a considerable limit at all times.
5. 3 years Premium On-site warranty: This is the best feature of this machine. For the smallest of the problems, you may reach out to the 24*7 premium care customer support and they will resolve the matter by acquiring remote access to the system. This mechanism works flawlessly.
Cons:
1. Battery- I expected a better battery life due to the laptop being EVO certified. But browsing the internet, Watching YouTube videos, office work and local media playback will result in 6 hours of maximum battery backup. It doesn’t get beyond this point in normal usage. The brightness has to be above 80% when working in the outdoor environment. In indoor conditions, with the brightness at 50% and refresh rate at 60Hz the battery backup may stretch marginally beyond 6 hours. The only silver lining is the 65W fast charger, although the size of the charging adaptor could have been less.
2. Screen Scratch: The screen is prone to scratches and with minimal swipe of finger with metal rings will create major scratch on the display, so observe caution.
Conclusion: Within 70K, this is a value for money product. If the price goes further down like 60K, then it will be a steal deal. Although you may go for the updated version of the machine from Lenovo. MS Office home and student 2021 is bundled with the machine, which is standard but a nice add-on.
