I had been using IFB 7kg digital for 12 years. With its end of life decided to go with LG 11kg this time. Purchased it from LG brand store directly. Main reason different technology direct drive and 2 years warranty + 3 years extended.
My ratings based on 3 weeks of usage:
-2 spin drain is not smooth as IFB. Gives irtitating sound of drum disbalance even after a perfect balance of legs considering I am a pro in balancing front loads
+1 wash quality IFB was better but was harsh on cloths. LG takes care of fabric
+1 LG leaves very low soap residue in comparison to IFB
+1 drum rotation change response is quick and smooth in LG
+1 better drum capacity. Gives enough space for cloths to tumble
+1 IFB soap dispensor was bad design and always leaks some water resulting in rusting and damage overtime. However LG has this thing far better
+1 better power consumption, saves energy
+1 lg legs are of good quality and easy to screw and unscrew for balancing. IFB legs were bad and pain

I am a heavy user with almost 1 cycle daily. IFB lasted for approx 4000 cycles with 3 times shock, 1 motor, 1 main board, 1 soap dispenser box, 1 belt and 1 voltage controller replacement. All covered under 4 years warranty except shocks and voltage controller in later years. Finally drum failure.
Lets see how LG responds in long run. Will come back and update my review after 1 year of usage.

Its a grate machine if you have a large family . Washing quality is excellent at the same time the operation is silent compared to others & its energy efficient too. You also get Steam & hot water features.
