First thing after so many requests I got lg installation engineer. And believe me he has used wall bracket which he brought with him. Also I paid 2857 rupees extra for that bracket. I don’t know how to register complain to lg customer service.

1 Year review of LG G1:
I’ll split this review into different segments:
1) Picture Quality: 5/5
My Settings: Custom with motion smoothening off, natural white balance.
You can read the specs online but specs won’t tell you how it ‘feels’ viewing on this TV. It feels outstanding, as close to the real world as possible. Watch any 4K HDR content (I would definitely recommend The Grand Tour on primevideo) and it feels stellar, pristine and lifelike. Even HD content (all the Indian soaps my parents watch) is bright and colourful, e.g. my dad commented how colourful the clothes are. My friend’s pet cat who occasionally visits our place approves this display by trying to catch Youtube birds 🙂
One drawback is that in a brightly lit room (such as mine in the morning) the brightness could have been better, as suggested in other reviews. But that’s not a bug, its a feature of OLED screens which are not as bright as their LED counterparts. Honestly, that’s a small niggle for me as the bright sun shines for only some hours and I can offset that with curtains.
2) Sound Quality: 3/5
For me, the cinematic mode works the best, as that enhances the bass which makes you feel like a subwoofer is in place. The dialogues are less clear though in this mode. It’s better to go for a decent soundbar with subwoofer for a better sound quality.
3) Gaming experience: 5/5
Game tested: Forza Horizon 4 (PC)
Since I don’t have a gaming console, I’ve only played a couple of titles with Forza Horizon being the best-performing of the lot. With PC mode automatically being enabled and the refresh rate being bumped to 120Hz, its a butter smooth and vivid experience. The only limitation is your PC, really.
4) UI: 3/5
The webos, though pretty stable and usable, lacks the plethora of apps that the Android ecosystem gives you. Case in point: I missed a couple of the early WC Football (soccer) matches of 2022 as JioCinema, the official broadcaster in India, didn’t have an app for WebOS (how the app fared during the opening match on any other platform, well, that’s a different rant topic in itself 🙂 ). So if you want the latest optimized app, I found the Android TVs to fare better.
5) Remote: 4/5
I hate the ‘minimalist and sleek approach’ TV manufacturers have taken towards remotes, which is why I find the supplied remote to be pretty user-friendly. Perhaps if they have given backlit keys in the remote that would’ve been pretty great.
6) Burn-Ins?
I have a run time of 3 hrs/day on average consuming mostly streaming movies, series and games. Very rarely do I open up news channels which have the ticker tapes and I don’t have the cable TVs which has the logo issue. Only for the last 2 months when my parents came to my place, the TV was running 7-8. hours everyday, so even though it’s just a year of usage, I have no issue with burn-ins or picture infidelity. I do run the pixel cleaning operation once every 3 months.
Conclusion:
Worth the hefty price? – Every cent/shilling/paisa
Who’s it is for:
If you want the absolute benchmark in picture quality, look no further. (Get G2 in fact, the price difference at this time is minimal to buy a previous version)
If you want the absolute top-notch game display performance (even the Sony Bravia OLEDs don’t match LG in this area).
Who’s it not for (probably):
If you have a room that’s too bright or you want to keep this TV outdoors, maybe its better to check LEDs instead
If you’re a fan of Android UI for TVs, or if you’re not okay with the delayed updates and lack of extensive app support WebOS has.
C-series or G-series?
If you’ve got a TV console and you want to put your TV on a stand, C series (C2/C1) would be a better option, else for a wall-mounted setup, G-series is to go for. Apparently G series are brighter than C series but that’s up to you to research and verify.

The picture quality and sound quality is stunning for the amount when we invested compared with other models. We don’t external sound bars. TV default speakers with subwoofer delivers the best sound.
Thickness of the TV, is just equalised to wall photo frame.
It’s cheaper in Retail market than online.

Best TV I have ever bought, it is worth every single rupee. The picture quality, brightness, clarity are best in class.
Btw this TV has 60W sound output not 40W as written in the spec sheet.
ARCHANA KUMARI –
I purchased this TV from a neighborhood retailer before it was launched on amazon. This is now at slightly cheaper price on Amazon, but I got free LG Earbuds also, so I guess it evens out. After using this TV for more than 1 month, I can say that it is just an exemplary piece of technology. Its razor thin, it will be flush against the wall. It has deep inky oled blacks. The bluetooth is just superb! No lag, no delay, instant connection. And the audio system is mindblowing. It has AI audio option which will adjust the volume of speech in audio automatically. You dont have to do anything! The music option gives deep base and almost renders your soundbars useless. Its just perfect. The picture quality is the best that I have ever seen (and i have bought samsung flagships earlier). BUT – do note that IF you intend to use this TV in a completely dark room at night, it will HURT your eyes. This is due to infinite contrast in oled’s where the whites are TOO WHITE. While I have reduced the contrast values to as low as 35, even then the TV throws enough white glare in brighter scenes at night in a dark room! And at such low contrast, you do lose picture quality also. So be mindful, it will NOT be easy on your eyes like LED during night. Secondly, the TV is generally quite bright! It really is an evo panel. Not even once did I feel any lack of brightness in a fully lit room during day. It really can as bright as You want! Thirdly, the remote has to be the most pathetic remote i ever saw with a flagship TV. Its bulky, its heavy, the central cursor makes a HIGHLY IRRITATING CLICKING sound every time you press it. If anyone is sleeping in the room with you, they will wake up for sure! The latches on the remote are lose, they make a noise. All in all a most pathetic remote! Fire stick 4k remote is 10 times better than this remote. In conclusion, if only there was some way to reduce the birghtness of the whites in this TV during night, it would have been perfect. Still it is the greatest machine that I have used, thats why I gave 5 stars! Go for it.
