I had a similar LG machine, which was exceptionally good with its material quality and sustained parts. This time, it’s not that robust in design.
As a Mechanical Engineer and prolonged experience in Mechanical design, I understood that topological optimization has been done in design by compromising body structure quality. Its body is plastic only, compared to the earlier one I used for at least 14 years with rust resistant metallic sheet body and plastic tub inside. It’s cost effective to the company, but time will tell how long it will last. Although the quality of moulded plastic seems to last.
The wash bucket cover is loose as there is no clamping with the body. It’s better than the previous.
Regarding the rotor, it works as per expectation. Again, time will tell the quality of actuator.
The spinner/drier is running as per expectation.
The top view looks good and decorative in design.
