this is awesome.. the only pocket friendly sound bar with Dolby Atmos.. it has amazing sound and surround effect.. it is 5.1.2 channel bar.. (2 upfiring Atmos speakers) .. just plug in Atmos movies like Ready player one , Thor Ragnarok, avengers and feel your self in cinema Hall.. sub and Bass could have been better.. but nothing to complaint.. I am getting LG spk8-s rear speakers kit from USA to convert this to 7.1.2 CHANNEL Beast..

Sound quality is amazing. You will have theatre like experience. I have a 4K TV. I experienced lag in the sound, because I bought a junk hdmi cable for ARC port. I bought 4K hdmi cable and the lag is gone. Overall, I’m very satisfied.

This honest review is after usage of more than 1 year, guys whatever deal u may be getting but pls don’t buy it, it’s a total waste, dolmy atmos without rear upfiring speakers is of no use, you will never feel the effect and 5.1 dolby audio without rear speaker will also not give that required effect, better go for more trusted brands in audio like sony with a system where u get rear speakers otherwise just go for any normal soundbar with woofer which you will get in 15 to 20 k of any good brand and the most important part the service quality of LG is worst they have not been able to provide rear speakers in India depsite of regular follow ups and it’s easily available in other countries. Any price beyond 20k is expensive , so think before you buy

This is a great SoundBar with awesome sound quality and if you play Dolby Atmos content then this will surely blow your mind. Bass is adequate for a typical Indian room. If you are a music lover, this system is not for you. Sound clarity is good and you have few sound modes to choose and you can adjust the sound as per your liking. \n\nThere is a major bug in its firmware(SoundBar’s internal software), the ChromeCast feature won’t work by default. You’ll have to plug in the Lan cable (to your router or switch or to your TV) and unplug in order to see the SoundBar in Google Home. After that, it will show up on every ChromeCast enabled application (Spotify/Google Play Music/Jio Saavn/Any other casting app) and once you If you restart the speaker, then you’ll have to follow the Lan plugin and un-plug steps and it is quite annoying. LG should provide a firmware fix in order to solve this issue. (Don’t know when they’ll release the fix.) \n\nIf you are buying this product only for casting functionality then stay away.\n\nEdit: Received an update yesterday, which fixed the Chromecast bug. Go for it, if you don’t need DTS:X. This is the most affordable Atmos soundbar with great build quality.

The Dolby Atmos effect is limited to HDMI and currently very few devices support the same in our country. So if you’re buying this, you’re going to be ahead of the crowd and will be the first one to experience Dolby Atmos once it’s widely available. For the usual Soundbar behavior, this one stands out definitely. It has 2 HDMI ports, WiFi, bluetooth, Chromecast, In-built Google Assistant. So you almost have everything in it. Would definitely recommend buying it if you have the budget.

This was a terrific purchase. I wanted an upgrade to my regular speakers so was searching for the best soundbar and a reputed brand when I came across this product. I had done enough research and gone through plenty of reviews of other products by other brands like Sony, Yamaha, Blaupunkt etc but settled for LG SL10YG. For many people LG might seem an odd choice for Soundbar as they are known for their other products but this was the best decision that I took because I am totally loving the movie watching experience. Also kudos to Flipkart for delivering in just 2 business days and awesome discounts on the big billion sale. Here are a few great things I have experienced:\n1. I immediately tested some action packed movies like Fast and Furious 7, Avengers, etc for which I own blu ray 4k discs and the sound was amazing.\n2. I played some video games on PS4 like NFS Payback and CoD Black Ops 3 and was blown away by the sounds. I had to actually lower the volume during daytime so as to not disturb the neighborhood lol.\n3. I check some 4k streaming on Netflix (U will need the highest subscription for 4k content, the regular HD won’t have dolby atmos output).Movies like 6 Underground, Extraction, series like Altered Carbon will blow you away with the amazing sound quality. \n4. Played some music on YouTube and loved it.\nThe drawbacks:\n1. The bass is really good. However only drawback I saw is that sound quality gets bad when we are casting our phone amd connect through wifi. As long as we don’t increase the volume to more than 40% then its fine but increase it beyond that then it starts to sound like playing some low bitrate audio.\n2. If you are looking for the complete surround sound experience then you will need to buy the SPK8-S speakers separately which are not even available in India.\nSo to sum it up if you are having the budget and looking for a premium quality theatrical sound experience then just go for this.

Bought it from Flipkart , very prompt and timely delivery,\nPerson from LG visited and installed before the schedule\nUsing with 75inch 4k TV.. Before I used different soundbar s from premium brands but this is only the Soundbar which satisfied me..the best of all..I used this for seeing 4k HDR movies with Dolby digital ,Dolby Digital plus and Dolby Atmos which sounds amazing.. for listening music also it is one of the..this can be connected via Wi-Fi ,Blue tooth, ARC , and Also through optical cable which provided with box.. this is the best at this price range .only lag is SPK 8 S 2.0 surround speakers which are intended for rear surround are not available in India..In LG website also they are shown ,but are not available in India..I called LG customer care so many times..but no response..that is LG is lagging in all aspects when compared to its competitors..I request FLIPKART to address the issue with LG and make possible the availablity of SPK8 S 2.0 rear surround speakers…

Size is little to big compared to other products, but it’s having a reason. \nbuilt quality is good as the top panel on subwoofer and sound bar itself is aluminium brush finished, black colour. only Bose is having tempered glass on top..as an advantage it will help to clean the dust .\n\ncoming to sound department, it offers you good sound stage there are pre defined mode like movie,music, acs,bass and standard. All these setting can be changed as per the taste. It’s very good compare to bose 500 and with that price you will get only the bar. \nDefinitely my recommendation is yes ..and lf possible buy SPK8-S Which is again a wireless speaker which will enhance the experience.
