It is a good monitor on 12K.. The LG UltraGear 27GQ50F-B has exceeded all expectations I had when purchasing this monitor! I thought it would be the perfect intro gaming monitork and I was right, but it has proven to be much more! The HD 1920×1080 display is perfect for gaming and consuming media. The picture quality is crisp and bright, with a surprisingly sharp image quality. The monitor was easy to setup using a DPI cable. Once connected and setup, I began to test the monitor by playing my favorite games and watching my favorite movies. With the 165hz refresh rate and 1msMBR response time, I was absolutely dominating in most of my games. My old computer monitor was a 75hz and this is quite an upgrade. And the thing is it is very thin monitor compared to my previous one.

Consider this monitor if you need good fps and response time i.e mainly for gaming pourpose. This is 5 star monitor for gaming in 12k. But if you are buying it for multimedia consumption then it will not satisfy you ,colours are not much punchy and will also face some clarity issue in picture quality . Other then that its a good one

It’s a decent monitor under 12k, I have purchased 27 inches full 165 ha va panel monitor. Lg 27gq50f
Decent color, I would not say punchy color just write. Or okay…I find the color decent or natural.
For the last 10 years, I am using an IPS gaming monitor from Asus. 3ms response time monitor.
I find it picture quality is almost the same as my old monitor.
Only the refresh rate is higher.
And this is what I am okay with.
Pros: 1)decent colors | natural side
2) good build quality.
3) high refresh rate in va panel.
4) good viewing angels
Cons :
1) Average brightness.
2) No hdmi cable in box
Suggestion : monitor should have speakers too.
Overall I am okay with the purchase.
And haan listen guys.. Don go for a 4k monitor …its overkill.
If you have money and want to buy a fancy monitor with 4k blah blah.. Save your money.
Window text option becomes very small in 27 inch and become Unusable in 4k.
So go for full had or quad HD.
