It’s ok for general web teaching but the camera does not focus as close as my prior Logitech that failed due to a bad connection after about 4 yrs of use.

The Logitech Full HD 1080p Webcam is a versatile and high-quality webcam that is perfect for professionals who need to communicate and collaborate remotely. With advanced image quality, auto light correction, and auto-framing, this webcam provides me with an outstanding video conferencing experience. This has fixed all the audio and camera issues that I face in a year of remote work.
One of the features of this webcam is its full resolution, which provides clear and crisp image quality. I did not want too much details in 4K giving too much details in remote work, so this was perfect for me. This was also higher than my macbook’s 720p. This is perfect resolution for me.
The auto light correction feature works well for me w/ zoom. even in low light environments. The webcam adjusts to the lighting in your environment to provide the best possible image quality. I had severe issues with zoom previously, due to sun and early morning/evening calls.
The auto-framing feature, centers the camera on you, even as you move around during meetings. This allows you to stand up or move around without worrying about leaving the frame. I personally have this feature turned off.
The Show Mode feature lets you tilt the webcam up or down with one hand, allowing you to present or hide your work or other objects on your desk. This is perfect for remote presentations or demonstrations.
The dual noise reduction microphones ensure that you are heard clearly, even in noisy environments. The noise canceling mics filter out background sound during calls, ensuring that your voice is the focus of the conversation.
To protect your privacy between meetings, the webcam features an integrated privacy shutter that can be rotated to completely block the camera. This is a valuable feature for professionals who are concerned about their privacy.
With a 90-degree field of view, this webcam provides extra space to move around or have a second person on the camera with you. The Logi Tune software allows you to zoom in or out to a full 90º width that I use.
Overall, the Logitech Full HD 1080p Webcam is an outstanding choice for me who needs high-quality video and audio for remote meetings. Its advanced features, including auto light correction, auto-framing, and dual noise reduction microphones, make it a standout option for me.

I’ve worked from home for almost 12 years at the time of this writing. As a side effect of that, I spend a lot of time on video calls, and I’ve been through an unfortunate amount of webcams over time trying to find one I like how I show up in my frequent video calls. This is it, it’s absolutely fantastic. Note that it’s wide-angle and you’ll likely want to crop in using software, but that’s super easy to do and even works in Linux or ChromeOS which is nice. For those tech savvy in the audience, yes I know these are technically the same thing but typical GNU/Linux and ChromeOS don’t always support the same hardware because … reasons, so I thought I’d note it.
The image quality is exceptional, the sensor is clearly larger than others I’ve tried because it’s taking in a ton more light and offering a more real, more crisp, and more pleasant on-screen self-presence and I’m very very happy with this web cam. Highly recommended with zero reservations.

Just bought this webcam and was enthusiastic about it because it had a usb-c connection which I needed for my new Mac Studio, however, when I plugged it in initially, it wasn’t recognized and wouldn’t work. After doing some searching, I discovered I needed to install the Logitech software Logi Tune which eventually recognized the device and updated the firmware. After doing that, the webcam works perfectly with all of my various programs.

I spend at least 6 hours a day on video calls and wanted a camera that could adjust for my bad lighting. This camera certainly did a great job on improving my picture in spite of the limited lighting. I had looked at light rings, but for the duration I needed it that wasn’t a great solution. The tracking feature was also of interest to me since I stand at my desk and have a tendency to move around a bit. Tracking works great with their app, but if you blur your background or do a virtual background in either Zoom or Teams it seems to stop. I have to blur or the productivity of my meetings go down as people laugh about my beagle puppy in the background doing her weird things to get attention.
If you spend a lot of time on video, this is a great deal!
