Shulamit Widawsky –
This mouse was listed as a large mouse with good resolution, silent clicks, great battery life, and lighter in weight than my M510. It mostly delivered, but it has a fatal flaw. The right and left click buttons hang right up to the edge, so that when I grab the mouse with my MUCH larger than average hands, it always right clicks. The M510 is the same size, but doesn’t have this limitation as there is a wall on beside the button that keeps the buttons from extending to the side.
While it doesn’t work for me, everything about the mouse seems to work otherwise as advertised. Still have some time left so I’m considering sending it back and getting another clicky, heavy, M510 instead.

Nice and quiet too because at night when people are trying to sleep and then they hear all this stupid click click click but not with this phone you can barely hear me touching. It works well. I definitely recommend this.

I like this mouse, but I have two concerns that have me replacing it.
First the good: The size is excellent. My hands fit men’s size large gloves on account of length, not thickness. A small mouse is a pain–literally and figuratively. The size of the M650 L is just big enough to be comfortable, while keeping itself as small as reasonable for a large mouse.
It was a little challenging to figure out how to get to the app that makes the buttons programmable, but once I did, programming the buttons was very easy. And I was able to program the buttons to exactly what I wanted. You need the app, Logi Options+ to get the available features.
I *love* the quietness of the mouse–this is the best part of it. Wish my keyboard was as quiet as the “clicks” on this mouse. When I’m presenting at a meeting online, it’s really nice to be able to click my mouse without them hearing anything. (Wish the two side buttons were as quiet as the main buttons.)
Now the bad: I chose the blue color because a black wireless mouse can be a challenge to find. It’s not like you can just follow the wire back to the mouse that fell into a drawer or got stuck in the upholstery of my big comfy chair. On the illustration the blue looks like a very bright color. It is not. It is literally just as dark as the dark grey contrasting color on top, sides and bottom.
I took a photo of the blue mouse next to the photo on Amazon to show how extremely different the real color and the advertised color are. This lighting shows how it looks in real life.
Another problem is the mouse wheel. Default mode is a jerky movement that sometimes doesn’t even move until I’ve rolled forward and backward a couple times. I was able to kind of fix it by resetting the scroll wheel to the “smooth” scrolling setting.
I bought this mouse because I got a new puppy, and he loves chewing the wire of my wired SteelSeries mouse. It’s a shame because I really love that mouse. But I needed wireless. Bought this mouse a week ago, and today the puppy pushed the mouse off, landing it in the water bowl. I snapped it out of there instantly, it seemed to survive, but 30 seconds later it turned down my volume to mute — *while* my Zoom client was talking.
My call to Logitech was to ask how to open it so I could dry it out. The agent said opening it would void the warranty, and said to contact Amazon. Surprisingly, I told the whole story to Amazon, and they said to send it back for a full refund since it was within 30 days.
I sent it back, they put the credit onto my account after UPS scanned in my return. And the return was free.
What did I replace it with?
The ergonomics of M650 L are just OK. I wish it was tilted to allow my hand and wrist to be in a more comfortable position. I even went to a giant, local tech store to try various ergonomic mice. But I could not find a truly ergonomic mouse that was quiet like this one. Ah, well, I came back and bought a red M650 L. It’s much easier to see, and I’ve moved the puppy’s water dish.

Works very well. Didn’t realize how much I needed a new mouse until I plugged the Logi in.

Great purchase for my size of hand. Responsive without issues. Yes, this has very quiet left/right mouse clicks, too.
