Quality was so poor and it stopped working after one month use and more of that Luminous doesn’t give option of repair. You can directly replace it through dealer but if you are buying through online then this is another challenge you have to face because you can’t contact directly to dealer hence I would suggest, do not buy it online go offline where you will have the option of replacement.

I am giving 3 star b’coz I found it both good n bad..
Read the following points and decide.
1. Flipkart service is great as always, delivered the product in 3 days.
2. Received, sealed packed brand new stabilizer without any physical damage as many customers complained in their review.
2. Coming to the stabilizer. In dimensions it is very compact and lightweight. In appearance it is a good thing but that also means the transformer used is small and cannot handle load well. I am using it on 1.5 ton 5* rated ac of 1478 watt and here is my observation.
3. Usually all stabilizers which I came across gives the same output as input if it range between 200 – 240v and works when voltage drops below 200 or gets higher than 240. However, this particular volt. stab. works even in this range and provide output of 245v @ 200v and lowers down with increase of every 10v. This is good for a.c. to start but remember my point no. 2 the small transformer getting very hot and there is no fan or heatsink, the metal body works as heatsink.
4. At 216v the stabilizer steps down voltage to 198v which it should not and in my guess it’s setting is wrong.
5. You might think why I am not returning the product with such issues… it’s b’coz there is no fault of seller and it is how Luminous built this stabilizer. On manual it is mentioned the output voltage range between 180 – 255 v +/- 5v. That means, even if I replace more or less will get same result.
6. Considering the 3 years warranty I won’t judge the product so soon as I am using Luminous sine wave inverter from past 6 years and very satisfied with it.
7. Conclusion: if your ac requires more than 1500 watt then I would recommend to go for better stabilizer.
