Had been looking for an economic fan with remote/mobile control to put in my parents room for additional convenience. Came across Luminous Audie SmartFan and decided to purchase it. Have been using it for over 1 month now and must say I am thoroughly happy with the purchase
Pros:
1. Fan speed and performance – At 380 RPM its performance is outstanding
2. Easy to install and no connectivity issues while connecting to Wi-Fi
3. Alexa control – Seelamlessly works with Alexa
4. Simple to use mobile interface and remote
5. Price – Significantly lower compared to other similar fans, completely value for money
6. Free installation and configuration provided by company
Cons:
1. Scheduling option not directly available but can be set using the Alexa app through ‘add routines’
All in all, I am extremely satisfied with the product and would recommend it to anyone seeking a smart fan within budget

Purchased this fan in October 2022 and till now the issue with the app is not fixed. Luminous customer service does not takes that as serious.. apart from that fan design, speed is good..

The fan has been working decently and the company also sent one person to install it from their end. But the person did not tell us that the regulator speed at the wall button needs to be always at full. The speed should only be adjusted by the remote/using wifi instruction from Alexa and Google. Other than that it is working pretty alright in both rooms. It keeps disconnecting from Alexa very quickly and now the fan isn’t connected with it, works just with remote. Hopefully they’ll be able to resolve it in the future. Other than that it’s a decent fan

Besides some kinks like losing Alexa integration, and sometimes automatic fluctuations in speed, I was happy with it as a ‘gadget’, as I tended to be able to troubleshoot and solve problems myself – Luminous Customer “Care” was virtually non-existent – they just wouldn’t turn up!
But from around May this year, the company seems to have upgraded the SmartLife App, which is used to control the fan from mobile and also for Alexa integration, and the new app changed the required user login credentials – locking them out of the app, and turning the smart fan into a dumb one for every Audie owner!
After a nightmare of reaching out, (lol… their customer care – I hope you never need it) finally got contacted by their service engineer, who promptly told me that its an unsolvable problem, and the company is aware… if the app gets updated, our fans had a chance of being smart again – else, tough luck you got cheated! Then he asked me to mark the call as done… since HE WAS HELPLESS, and visiting would make no difference… I refused to do this, of course.
Just look at the reviews of Luminous Smartlife app on the Playstore – you’ll see only angry Audie buyers returning their fans or, like me, those who bought earlier, just venting in frustration. This is a callous unprofessional company which does not take care of their customers and I will do my best to dissuade everyone not to buy any product from them. When I initially purchased the fan, it was a new product – people from their head office called me up *all week* to give good reviews – but now, not even the local service Centre – 5 minutes distance from my location, will help – or can’t.
There are so many customers (dozens, if not hundreds) in this situation that I think it may be a good idea to take collective legal action against them. Will consider it, along with others. Will update if they fix the app, but seeing the months gone by, I have scant hope.
ITS A SCAM THAT THEY ARE STILL SELLING AND ADVERTISING AND CHARGING FOR A SMART FAN ON AMAZON – WHEN IT IS NOT, WITH THE SMART FEATURES NOT WORKING. DEFINITELY SMELLS OF FRAUD.
DO NOT BUY – YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A FAN WITH JUST A REMOTE, WHILE PAYING FOR A REAL SMART FAN, OR WILL HAVE THE HASSLE OF A RETURN.

Update: – Having an issue in the Control Unit, Repair it once and change it once a year.
The fan is running fine and a 2-year warranty helped and saved me bucks. Look wise fan is Good But dusting is a big problem, the White colour gets dirty within 1 month.
Suggesting you go with BLDC FAN which consumes lower power and the Remote facility is not much useful. Prefer to select another brand like Crompton bldc which consumes 30-35 watt haft of it.
Fan Is Good I boought this under 2500 in offer , It working with alexa and remote .
Control is smooth , but the problem is if fan is off it some time start or trigger and just for a sec is start and off .
It doent have anti dust coating which is not good if you are buing white color.
Company selling this for 4000 and no antidust chating and power conaumption is 80 watt is also not good.
Currently in market you can buy BLDC FAN WITH low consumption equal to 30 watt.
For same price.
