It was a nice deal considering the brand and price tag. It worked fine for a month (and still working) but somehow it started giving electric shock. I called the company service center and booked a service request but no service engineer arrived till date.
Anyway, the product is simple so you can get it repaired from any local electrician. The material quality is good and the brand is also reliable. Considering the price, it’s a fair deal, though !

I have bought this product on sep 2015, but your product gives very hard shock ( electric current) given to me,I was admitted in hospital for one day this product is in warranty period please change or replace it , this product also caught fire my daughter rapidly close electric main circuit I have also enclosed the photo of eletric press

On first use itself the smoke was coming out from the iron box. Though I have written to maharaja service they asked me to report to their service in pune which is far of my place. Kindly replace product or exchange with another good one. The difference of amount will be paid.

Bought for INR : 349/-, Packing and Courier was good and intime. delivered fast asusual by Amazon.
This is the basic model by MaharajaWhiteline, heating faster, no much difference between 1000W and 1500W. can go for it.

5.) 3 Points of heating levels indicated, tough there are 1, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, 3 and Max levels.
a.) First point – indicates for Synthetic cloths,
b.) between first and send point – indicates for sole, seda, zijde, silk cloths.
c.) Two points – indicates for laine, lana, wol, wool cloths.
d.) Between second and third point – indicates for coton, algodon, kaloen, cotton cloths
e.) Third point indicates for lin, hilo, linen cloths
f.) Finally MAX heat.
6.) 3 Pin plug, which is Very safe. tough all iron boxes will have the same.
7.) Having ISI mark on Plug and as well as hologram on iron box also.

Note: Box Seal may be opened and re-packed, I think this is due to entering the Serial number on warrenty card. As i got the same. But inside product is Very New and Not touched any thing except warranty card. where as warrenty card is having hand written serial number. and not having any hand prints on the iron box. So no need to worry.
