Setting aside all scepticism I finally bought Xiaomi robot vacuum and it was the best decision ever! It’s the best robot in this price range to offer mapping, target area/ room cleaning, 2100 PA vacuum power, has a large vacuum compartment plus, a vacuum cum mop compartment.
The quality of vacuum is really very good and we can never achieve that with a broom. That too, I always use standard power, not the high one! I have read reviews that the edges of wall are not covered but that is not completely true as the rotating brush moves and touches the edges of the wall. So while the edges may not be directly under vacuum but it does clean considerably. Personally what I like most is, dust & fabric strands that get suspended in air due to use of broom is no longer a problem. They used to settle on sofa, other furniture tops and we had to dust them again.
The mopping action is also very good as the mop does not leave behind any fabric strands like a normal mop. You can select how much watery you want the mopping to be. Using medium always gives a good result. We used the Y Action (back & forth) for mopping. Again I have never achieved this level of cleanliness.
The battery backup is good for now and I have seen it work for 83 minutes continuously. It is meant to automatically return to dock to recharge and resume job. Haven’t seen that in my small house.
The mapping function is really good but for first time you need to use the robot using vacuum and mop for the whole house (not just vacuum) to save the maps. Then you can easily divide the total map into rooms and rename them. It supposedly allows saving multiple maps (different floors) but again I haven’t tried that in my one floor flat.
Integrates with Google Assist but I have only used that to dock the robot to charger. I have not tried Google for targeted room cleaning or specific task like just vacuum. The Xiaomi Home app is excellent and offers a better interface like allowing other members to mange the device from their phone. Using Xiaomi Home app you can easily connect the robot to WiFi and also see the areas that have been covered while cleaning.
Does it mean you have nothing to do? No! You must remove/ empty the dust & mop compartment after job, clean & dry the washable mop. Also remove small floor mats, remove chairs around the dining table, lift/tie curtains above the floor to allow the robot do a good job.
Not much complaints but the cord length to connect the dock to AC outlet could have been longer. It doesn’t reach floor dock when attached from standard height Indian plug point. Also, some of the algorithms can improve because when cleaning the whole house if leaves area in between then it completes them in weird fashion. For instance it may be logical to complete the areas in the room it is in first, than going to another room, and again coming back.
To add further, I purchased using no interest EMI from Flipkart! So go for this vacuum, I definitely recommend it.

Good product at this range. This is the second robo cleaner that I am using and this quite better.

– Does both vacuuming and mopping at the same time.
– No water leakage.
– Control on cleaning area.
– Good suction power.

– mi should have provided a remote also for its operation.
– noisy at powerful mode.
My First robo cleaner 360 s6 does not do vacuuming and mopping at the same time. and mopping is very bad in it.
If you buy this product in MI official website you will get a mi speaker worth rupees 3k free.
Flipkart also has this offer for limited period but both are not shipped at once and little tricky to avail it.

Awesome machine. It vacuums as well as mops all the map area neatly. Very useful for all. Saves time. Day by Day it becomes more active and time taken to clean reduced from 48mins to 35mins for 1100 sq ft area. The best in segment device. Has got both S pattern and Y pattern for cleaning which is available only in high-end robotics. Thumbs up for the team.

Really I wasn’t expecting much while purchasing the product but the end result is really amazing. Even we can’t clean as it cleans superbly. Thanks for flipkart for right time delivery. I am not sure about the lifetime of the product. But it works as a charm.
I saw good reviews for vaccum than mop. But as per my knowledge apply floor cleaning solvent on the floor before mopping using this device.
I recommend vaccum everyday and mop every 3 or a week depends upon ur convenient. But I thought do I need to mop after seeing the vaccum result.
Software experience was ok. It’s bit slower. Now a days we want everything to be quick but it’s bit slow loading map list and some function. But works perfectly no issues towards that one.

I purchased this product in June 2022. It worked fine for me in starting months, but gradually the coverage area started to reduce. Now, in a single charge it is not even able clean a small room. The mop goes dead when battery level drops to 70%. Then, it has to be docked manually. It is still under warranty. Registered a complain 2 months ago. Till now, no service received. Now, it is a waste for me. Thinking of disposing off. Very bad service from @Mi

Awesome smart Vaccum:
What’s good:
1. Laser imaging or the room, makes it easy for the bot to identify, map the house and do its work
2. Quite self reliant, does its job on its own, smart indeed.
3. Cleans very well.. no really, cleans very well. The Vaccum is strong and the brush underneath also collects hair strands well.
4. Mopping is also decent.
5. App integration is nice. Can select rooms and customise the cleaning as needed.
What you need to put up with:
1. Noisy at higher levels.
2. If the room is cluttered then it struggles to move around. (As in too many obstacles will confuse it) having said that it completed my house in 90 mins odd.
3. Post its work, cleaning the bot is a task in itself. It accumulates all the dirt so cleaning it is something that you need to do.
4. Water tank for mopping is small, so after a room or two need to refill.
Overall it’s an amazing product. I had very little hope on its capability, but I am pleasantly surprised by what it can do.
