Micromax in Note 1 (Green, 4GB RAM. 64GB Storage), (E7746)

I am fully satisfied with the purchase of Micromax IN Note 1 and writing this review after using the mobile for 8 days.
Reasons for satisfaction:
1) Green color is looking cool. I was little worried about green color before I opened the pack, but it is much better than regular colors.
2) Battery life when I first used with factory charged battery was not so great. Then I charged the mobile up to 100%. After some app notification settings, brightness settings and black theme, I could use the mobile for 3 days with single charging. If the mobile is used for mixed applications and video watching, then 100% charge should be enough for 1 full day. Charging time is less with fast charging.
3) There is a bug fixing patch dated May21, which fixed the battery heating issue and some other issues.
4) I have not explored the camera options and settings fully. There are some extra manual controls for shutter time, aperture and manual focus. It seems that the megapixel rating is not proportional to the image quality. I am happy with this camera as I am not going to use this mobile as a DSLR.
5) Stock Android with customization by Micromax is good. I tested the processor and hardware with some high performance games and it is passed.
6) The biggest advantage is that this phone is manufactured by an Indian company so there should not be any data security issues like Chinese manufacturers. No undesired pre installed apps like Chinese mobiles.

Please go for Indian mobiles and promote Indian companies and not our enemies. If Indian companies get support of Indian consumers, then soon they will be able to manufacture all the raw material inhouse.

I am writing this review after using this phone for 15 days. Front camera is just normal. It can be better in this price range. Rear camera is superb. Battery performance is good. Charging time is moderate ( not too fast nor too slow). Fingerprint reader is good. I found one issue about proximity sensor. It doesn’t work well.

There is some huge problems related to charging I am facing from day one. First of all the original charger that came in the box doesn’t fit the port well. You have to push the charging socket really hard till the end to start charging. But the fit is not secure and with slightest movement the socket become loose and it changes to ‘charging’ from ‘ fast charging’. And ‘charging’ means nothing, although the icon shows up. It’s either fast charging or nothing. Moreover, if you put any case, even the one that came in the box, then you can’t charge the phone at all, because the socket can’t be pushed enough to start fast charging. I am forced to use the phone without case since beginning. Another issue is no other charger fits the phone. I have tried different original chargers of samsung, Google, one plus etc, with voltage of 18, 30, 65 watts, no one could charge the phone. That means, if you forget, lose or damage the original charger you are left with a dead phone soon. Third issue is, if the phone discharges completely, you are screwed. After plugging in the charger, you can’t use it for half an hour to one hour, and no display will be there to tell you that the phone is charging. This has become a headache for me and I don’t care about any other feature when the basic thing like charging is faulty. And it is not that I received a faulty unit, when I searched the web, I found thousands of buyers are complaining about the same issue. Waste of money.

Defective product pakda diya tha. Speaker is not working in the device. Seller is a very big cheeter he is cheat both Amazon and customer of Amazon.
