Microsoft Xbox Wireless On Ear Headphones with mic (Black)

Tested along side pulse 3d, better than Sennheiser hd 599 and overall it is about as good as pulse 3d, which is also very good but this has tiny bit better bass. So if you either one of them no need to buy both unless you want to use on their particular consoles they are meant for, on pc and mobile, both are equally good.

Once you buy dolby and/or dts, any earphone and headphone has dolby and dts audio, so pulse 3d and this both benefits from using them.

Good for movies and probably gaming, do not own xbox console, and music.

Upon further testing, sony’s pulse 3d is livelier, louder overall and the bass is not that behind xbox wireless headset, so if you have to choose between the two for pc, i suggest pulse 3d which also gives Aux connection via 3.5mm jack so you can use it while charging and even in the long run it will be usable due to this feature if you cannot replace the batteries and its audio quality does not degrade when being used in wired mode on pc, but seems to matter when it comes to using it wireless or wired in consoles.

Best for both gaming and Office calls.
For sometime I have been looking for a wireless headphone as the wired headphone makes it impossible to stretch in those long never ending office calls.
Since the purpose was primarily Office calls over teams didn’t want to go extravagant for headphone budget but also didn’t want compromise in both sound/mic quality or build quality.

First Impression:
Quality of these headphones feels premium, both the cushions and headbands are comfortable.
Pairing is absolutely simple, hardly took 1 min to pair.

Quality:
Sound is rich, also the option to customize the sound, control the base which is boomy but can be tapped down.
Mic quality is really good, and best part is one can control the ambient noise using the software.
Dedicated hw button to mute and unmute mic.
Battery is decent and worked for entire office hrs and some extra music hours.
Only issue is when used for long hours, it gets sweaty around the earpads.

Since this is from Microsoft, it works really well with Teams calls and Windows laptop

Sound quality is great, headset is comfortable to wear. And it can also connect to Xbox and a Bluetooth device (like phone or PC) at the same time. Battery lasts long. The only issue I have is that it turns on Xbox whenever I turn on the headset. So it might turn on the Xbox even if I just want to use it on PC. One workaround is to fully unplug the Xbox when not in use. But I am hoping with future updates they will add the option to disable it in the accessories settings.

This is a great gaming headset for the price.

Pros –
1. Light weight and fits well – The polyurethane leather-covered pads are comfortable and deliver good noise isolation.
2. Battery life – lasted 12 hours for me with single charge.
3. Sound – with the default EQ settings it’s not the best but you can tweak it according to your liking and it becomes really good. You also get bass boosting option
4. Dolby Atmos – it supports both Dolby Atmos and Window Sonic. I found Dolby Atmos overall better than window Sonic. The Dolby Atmos app cost around 824/- INR one time pay but it’s worth it.
5. Looks – The looks are minimalistic and matches well with my series X. The volume and mic comes with easy to control dials on both ear cups.

Cons
1. I would not really call it a con but if you are in the same room where your Xbox is kept and if you turn on your headset, it will start the console as well. It gets annoying when you want to use it with any other device. I am sure there must be a settings to switch it off.

Other than that, it’s really worth the price and changes the whole experience of gaming.
