Has been a great help when it comes to have a great baking and grilling experience.
The electricity consumption is slightly on the higher side, but it gets offset by the good food that you end up eating.
The service support network is OK. The mechanical timers have developed some issue and could not get it rectified. Tried a few times, including replacement but it doesn’t get resolved. Now have to manually time it 🙂

Other than it being slightly larger than mentioned in the description, this OTG is a clear winner. As mentioned in other review, the packaged seemed opened and an accessory missing but it was all good. This is a very solidly built oven and it handles big baking jobs wonderfully. Timer knobs are solidly built and seem like they will last.
This oven can grill 2 small/mid size chicken at the same time and can bake a cake for 8~10 people. If you are trying to bake a cake for 3~4 people then I would recommend that you buy a 25ltr~32ltr and not 40ltr like this one. For cookie baking may be even smaller. Its a power guzzler at about 4KW.
Body doesn’t get as hot and the spice compartment is a really nice touch. The light inside the oven is very dim and makes monitoring the glaze/crust very difficult.

The alignment of the door wasn’t proper from the day I received the product. I used it once to bake a cake. However, after the cake was done, I couldn’t open the door to take it out. After a struggle, the door opened. When I tried to close the door, the handle of the glass door came off. When I tried to slide it in, it broke into a zillion pieces… This was just two days after I bought the product… Disappointing. The company refused to replace the glass as the glass components are not covered under warranty. So, I had to pay for the door replacement.

I have purchased this product not more than 6 months back and since the first month itself I am facing alot of issues in its functionality, but the sevrice centre is not providing the services well. It has got repaired 4 times already for which I have to each time call almost 10 times to the service centre then the executive visit and takes my oven for repair, But the same problem comes again and again. Its the worst brand I should say in terms of quality and after sales. Also I second time when they took my oven to service station they returned the product with a big dent on the top of the oven. I am very disappointed with morphy richards and would not recommend to any one.

After using about a month, we found that the brand is great but when we cook cookies or Pav ladi, heat is not evenly distributed as it supposes to do. inside corner and side part gets baked first and by the time the middle section gets baked, the corner and side part starts burning. We have baked using both rods with convection option.
Also,
Buttons temperature buttons and timer buttons are not evenly dotted.
Advice to buy if the digital display is available in the market

Excellent product. Extremely lightweight and preheats very fast. Finish quality far above other products on the market. Knobs have a nice movement. Bakes, grills, heats very well. Garlic bread turns out awesome. If you have space, go for the 60 litres version which costs the same and you can make multiple pizzas in one go.

I use this pretty extensively and fairly regularly for baking cakes, breads, pizza and cookies, toasting nuts, as well as grilling veggies, kebabs, pork and chicken and reheating leftovers. (In fact, I threw out my old microwave after I started using this oven for reheating, because despite the 20-30 minute reheat time, I prefer the way this one reheats food). And it continues to work well despite it getting hardly any cleaning. I have taken care not to spill things inside it, but I haven’t bothered much with deep-cleaning the insides. However, after about 4 years of use, I started noticing that the temperature calibration was slightly off. If the oven is kept on for too long it would overheat unevenly and some parts would get burnt. This is a problem mainly for sugary cookies and toasting nuts. Meats are still getting grilled really well (because grilling is more forgiving at higher and uneven temperatures). This oven has been money very well spent for a family of two. I might invest in a bigger oven after some more time and junk this. This one has been perfect for me as a beginner and gave me the best value-for-money-intro to oven-based cooking.
