Its been 8 months now i am using it, although I don’t use it everyday but 2-3 times a week; its working very fine and smooth.
I don’t have any regrets for choosing it. Its wire is a little small but besides that each and every part of it is very good. I almost 1 sec it makes a very perfect grind.
and jars are very strong, caps too, the product worth this price. its smallest jar is sufficient for making anything for 2-4 people.
very happy to use it. 🙂 🙂

For morphy richards good thing is service guy will come to your house for service. Initially I have received the item with one jar missing but after plalcing the replace item it is good. It is cheaper than what is available in bajaj electronics. These mixers will have jars with metal base so that they last longer and not easy to break. All other companies will have classy look but their jars base is of plastic hence after some days of usage you may find difficulty if it cracks. I have been using it for 1 year . After that usage I have ordered another one for my relatives.

Simple and ergonomic design. Best in it’s class. BAJAJ have always lived upto the expectations.
Noise can be reduced.

I bought this mixer but had to return because the whipping blade was not with this package even though the description mentioned 5 blades.
Morphy richards icon essentials is the mixer we have been using nearly 15 years now. The motor is still good, but the whipping blade had broken and there is some wear and tear, so we decided to buy the same product again. Only the name has changed from Morphy richards essentials to classique and the whipping blade is also not included. If this blade is not important for you, go for it.

I like the product. It’s going it’s job well. But I got the package with one part missing. The small grinder does not have the small plastic cap on top of the cover. I have to use the medium units part for both the vessels. It’s a little inconvenient. And I would like to buy an extra but don’t know how!
Bona fide customer –
My previous Morphy Richards mixer/grinder served me well for 12 years – and I was able to give it away in good working condition. So I decided to go with this brand again.
I ordered the Morphy Richards Classique charcoal grey/ dark orange variant … but the dark orange colour as seen on the vendor page turned out to be a very bright canary yellow which I couldn’t live with, so I returned it.
I then ordered the Icon Classique model in white. The switch worked just once then jammed so tight even a guy couldn’t budge it using force. So it was also returned. The third piece I’ve kept … I’m still getting used to it even after several months. I was also disappointed to see this model was the exact same design as the one I’d had before – no design updates, no edgy look.
My experience:
The fittings on the jars are sadly of very poor quality:
– The silicone bands around the lids are very thin & slack … blended stuff gets under them all the time,
– The tiny little cap on the dome-shaped lid of the 1.5 litre jar just sits loosely and keeps falling off – it’s flown off five times while mixer was on – the stuff inside was hurled all over the kitchen and on the floor – took hours to clean … so then I had to hang on to the inadequate little cap for dear life as long as this jar is being used or else it would fly off and the whole kitchen will get messed up again. But to compound this, liquid leaks out from the cap … so I don’t use it at all now – I have a silicone vegetable saver which I jam on top – it does a better job, though I have to hang on to it too. Very poor design … this cap should have had a twist / lock system to secure it to the lid. Besides, it’s so tiny, it gets misplaced easily.
– The largest jar doesn’t smoothly blend even cooked veggies for soup, or watermelon pieces … my 600 watt mixer did a much better job.
– The two larger jars don’t disengage from the base easily after use – to remove them i have to hit hard against the handles with the heel of my hand to dislodge them from the coupling.
– And as for the motor, it doesn’t have a steady whirring sound – there’s a distracting reduction in sound every two seconds … a jerky kind of sound … it seems as if it’s the same motor as the 600 watt one, but souped up a bit.
All in all I expected a lot more from this Morphy Richards 750 watt machine. It’s doing an okay job … but that’s about it. I’m seriously considering gifting this machine to someone who can’t buy one … and go for another brand.
As for Customer Service … I’ve searched and searched … couldn’t find the helpline … I’d respect the company if they read this review and phoned me ..!!!
