This review is on AmphisoundX 160watt with dolby.\nGiven 5 stars checking the connectivity & sound, ease of installation.\n\n1)There is no battery back up in sub woofer. You have to plug to power socket always.\n2) Motorola provided HDMI ARC cable & aux cable in the box. HDMI & Bluetooth working fine. I have not tested aux & optical cables.\n(In meny reviews i seen connectivity & arc problem i think it is from improper hdmi cable or tv settings. Please check sound sitting section)\n\nConnected very easily to my tv via HDMI ARC\nConnected and played my motorola phone via bluetooth. I found no changes in sound clarity via hdmi & bluetooth.\n3) Bass function works good. I have not noticed Treble effects change.\n4) There is some deferences in given discription. There is no 4x3inches speakers in soundbar. We see 2x wide speakers and 2 x 1inch speakers.total 4 speakers. I don’t know it is tweeter or speaker.\nConnect with correct ARC Cable,\nSee and configure settings in tv for perfect functionality. \n\nTotally i am happy with product.\nDears please indicate which varient you reviewing. It will help others to take decision to buy.\n\nUnhappy with flipkart shipping. They shipped my product after 10 days from order.

Those who likes to hear a decent song, this will suffice the need..\nIt’s just a sound bar with 4 speaker plus subwoofer\nGood part, you could move around the subwoofer.\nWhen you buy this product please ensure HDMI Arc or optic cable option available, if not you have to buy cable with both the end which has 3.5 jack.

I have bought 160 W model of this sound bar, sound is really clear and loud.Good enough to use as a home theatre surround sound, dolby digital. Motorola is new into Sound bars but it is actual better then many brands a little of expensive, overall having a good sound experience, looking forward to listen some good music.

This is my first sound bar and i’m reviewing after month of usage…\n\n1. No doubt, It Looks premium\n2. Easy to setup via HDMI, USD, BT and AUX and easy to use\n3. Sound quality : Voice & Music Mode : Just ok and could be better, Movie mode: its gives really theatre effect in room size 16×16\n4. Bass is really good & Treble could be better, can’t feel crystal clear effect (i think it may achieve in 4K video format) \n5. Worth for Money & go for it

Based on my good experience of my Motorola 55 inch Smart TV, I went ahead and bought this product Motorola Amphisound 200 watts with wireless bass unit & sat. Speakers, and am UTTERLY disappointed with what I got. My unit was replaced once as the first one had major problem in connecting with bass unit and wireless satellite speakers. The second one was not having that issue, however, the maximum distance where you can place the satellite speaker is 8/9 feet if want to have un distorted sound. I accepted that, thinking even the Sonys and LGs doesnt provide longer cables either within this price range. The standard should be evaluated based on sound performance than the hardware specs & therefore it fails.miserably! The major problem with this system is its overall sound quality, mids and high frequencies. The bass is not controlled or tuned properly that’s why it gives very eerie boomy sound even at -3 level which is not pleasant at all. You need to keep the overall volume of the system very low to get rid of that unpleasant bass, and once to try to do so, the mid and high frequncy waves dip so much low that you literally can’t hear the dialogues or verbals of a song. Even after a burning period of more than 25 to 30 hours, the overall sound would always seem lacking and that would haunt you everytime & you would try to manouver with the remote by changing the setting quite often to attain the optimum sound output. I have found out a trick for that though …. I am coming to that! The stock Motorola 55 inch Smart TV has a waaaay better mid and high frequency sound than this amphisound system. I wonder if that TV soundbox has tweeters in it; however, the amphisound has no tweeter and that is big minus for music/ song lovers. Coming to my trick now, after realising all this, I put on the TV sound at moderate/ low along with the sound bar keeping the sound bar volume at low to have a very balanced bass, mid and high. The satellite speakers works as left and right stereo only and nothing more; however, while watching movies it gives a filling sound inside the room, and that’s always welcome. When you connect with the Bluetooth, the sound quality becomes poor when compared to the optical, as I have connected it through Bose OEM optical cable. I have tried placing the bass unit at different locations and it gives better sound when it’s placed at a position, where nothing is around kept it and placed far from TV/ soundbar … halfway towards the audience from the soundbar. \nOverall, I really expected better, as my experience with the TV is good. I tell you, I have heard music system cheaper.than this and sounds much better than the amphisound. Simply I feel let down😌 …. But see, it happens sometimes, when you take risk with with a new brand/ model …. isn’t it! My risk was worth it with the Motorola TV, however not with the amphisound.

This review is for the 250W Dolby Atmos version (without rear speakers) – I was already using a Harman Kardon omni directional speaker in conjunction with my tv speakers which are really good which maybe is why i am not at all impressed with this soundbar/woofer. The sub woofer has disappointed me more than anything else. Always go for an established brand like samsung or polk etc.\nEdit : after trying out music from various sources like USB, Firestick (prime music/youtube) , im giving this one more star – very good for listening to music. Although my complaint against the sub woofer remains – clarity leaves a bit to be desired – for those simply want thumping, glass breaking bass, then they will be satisfied. And don’t expect real Dolby Atmos with this. YOU NEED OVERHEAD SPEAKERS FOR TRUE ATMOS. The upward firing speakers in the soundbar are no substitute. \nConnecting options – My TV doesn’t have ARC so connected Firestick to HDMI 1 on the soundbar and used a HDMI cable to connect the HDMI ARC port on the bar to the HDMI IN port in my TV. Also connected Tatasky STB to the soundbar using optical cable. Sound is best from the Firestick (obviously) , next is the STB. Bluetooth sound also sounds good but only 2.1, not 5.1/Dolby . The sound quality breaks down considerably using Aux. \nTo conclude, this soundbar is good for music and also for voice centered programs like the News. Not so much for movies with a lot of effects. I may buy the Rear Satellite speaker version of the Motorola AmphisoundX Soundbar to see if sound can be improved upon, especially for movies.
