MSI G24C4 E2 24 Inch FHD Curved Gaming Monitor – 1500R 1920 x 1080 VA Panel, 180Hz / 1ms

Bought this for ₹19999 on 11th of April. Got delivered on 18th of April.

First Impressions :

1). Great monitor to look at. Looks way more premium with frameless design for the cost it comes. Monitor stand is of Aluminium metal and also looks great.

2). Display color production is good. As it is a full IPS panel, i was expecting some backlight bleeding issues, but to my surprise it didn’t have any bleeding issues. Black BG in any videos/games comes up really great on the screen.

3) There are no USB port on the backside of the screen. You only get 1 DP, 2 HDMI, 1 AUDIO JACK and Power cord connector port only.

4) MSI advertise it as a 165hz monitor, which indeed it is, but if you connect this monitor with HDMI cable then you will be limited to 144hz only. You will need a DP cable to get 165hz from this monitor.

Note : DP CABLE IS NOT PROVIDED BY MSI WITH THIS MONITOR. YOU ONLY GET 1 HDMI CABLE INSIDE THE BOX.

Now the BAD Side of this monitor.

1). Ghosting issues is there. And there is no solutions to prevent it. Either you play with settings inside the OSD of Monitor or tweaking your graphic card setting via your PC/laptop, nothing helps.

2). Reading text on this screen is not a good thing to do. Text looks too edgy to look at, and when you scroll any webpage, you can see the ghosting problem there.

Over-all :

It’s a great buy to be very honest. It looks great and offer almost way more value than any monitor in the market.

Now Decide yourself,

1). If you are a creator and want a great display for the price bracket of 20k i will say go for it.

2). If you are looking for a monitor which looks good and want to do office work, watch movies and play games in free time…then still it’s a great buy.

But if,

1). If you are some one who is a professional creator, then I will not suggest to go with this monitor, reason being the display is not that bright.

2). If you are someone who is into professional gaming, then please don’t buy it.

Rest for me, its a good buy and I’m happy with my purchase.

The delivery box was damaged but thankfully no water from rain entered,
The monitor was in new condition but
It lacks USB port only audio jack 2x hdmi and dp port and power port available. They did not give hdmi cable so I bought a long cable but it did not support refresh rate above 60hz so I changed it to short hdmi cable it’s supports 120hz without blanking out screen randomly. But still having problem at 144hz gaming. This has 2 flaws 1. the connection port panel is hard to see no height adjustment 2. The va panel has ghosting effects in objects moving 120hz.

Achat de cet écran MSI OPTIX G32CQ4 au meilleur moment puisque acheté à 260 euros avec frais de port inclus. Quoi dire !!! écran 2k 1440 p, 165 Hz avec câble display port (câble reconnu tout de suite ), incurvé. Bref il a tout pour lui. passant de la1080 p à la 2 k le changement est radicale. La dalle de l’écran reste très grande prévoir un recul conséquent ( de l ‘ordre de 80 cm à 1 mètre). Ecran non réglable en hauteur mais pas gênant pour moi car achat d’un support écran, à savoir que le pied de l’écran qui est très bien finis prend énormément de place sur le bureau. Me convient pour mon utilisation (film 2 k, YouTube, gaming) mais possède quand même quelques fuites de lumière en haut en bas de la dalle, pour moi pas gênant. Ce n’est probablement pas le meilleur écran mais il a tout ce qu’il faut. Je le recommande jusqu’à 350 euros
