Ark Balar –
Disappointed by Flipkart support,
I had to reach to fipkart and raise a call after creating a support ticket, and still my issue hasn’t been resolved.
And was misguided by one of the support executives.

I have been using it for 2 days and below are my observations:
Battery: Pretty Awesome, It will last you a day even when you use it for social contents. I’m left with 30 percent before bed time.
Design: I was using one plus 7 pro, it had a curved screen and it was comfortable to hold. I feel a pain if I use this phone for more than 30 minutes. Maybe by the time it goes away.
UI: One of the best UI experience out there. Buttery smooth (Sakkathagide).
Performance: No complaints here, serves me well.
Camera: Inconsistent, need to improve in this department. Portraits are okaish, primary camera takes natural photos.
To Flipkart: While unboxing, the Sim Ejector pin was missing in the box.

I pre ordered this phone after launch. I was excited with the hype which this phone created in market and shifted from my OnePlus 7 to Nothing Phone 2. My observations are as under:-
Pro
1. Good display and unique design
2. Better battery performance with wireless charging
3. Very good OS experience
4. Amazing performance
Cons
1. Low light camera performance is average
2. Average stereo speaker. I would prefer watching content with earphones on
3. The rear glass panel feels like plastic. Quality could have been much better at this price range
4. The LED in glyph interface feels yellowish and cheap when seen from an angle. Quality of LED could have been much better
5. Haptics are just average. My OnePlus 7 had better haptics compared to phone 2
6. I observed black colour glue coming out on right edge of phone 2. This is just not acceptable from any company irrespective of the mobile phone cost.
7. Charger and case should have been included in the box
Finally a suggestion to Nothing, please stop comparing your product to apple. Your need to improve the quality of phone on hardware side before you compare yourself with apple.
The only reason I like this phone is its performance and software experience.

The phone is even better than what oneplus was in the early years. Feels premium
1.Os – It is the best thing about it. Zero bloatware,Minimalistic look, default google apps like dailer, contacts etc. feels like using google pixel device with some good customisation feature. Os is so fast and fluid.
2.Performance – Qualcomm 8+ gen 1 processor is well tuned with OS. No lag even during Heavy gaming like BGMI and COD mobile. Device doesn’t heat much.
3.Charging – 45 watt charger is good enough. Only problem is charger is not shipped with device. You have to shell out extra money for that.
4.Battery – battery backup is also nice
5.Camera – It is above average hope things get better with future updates.
6.Display – Oled LTPO display with FHD resolution gives good viewing experience.
7.Design – glyph is something unique.
Nothing phone 2 is Worth every penny. Hardware can be same in many device but OS is what makes it different.

Bought it on first sale itself. Phone is pretty big but manageable. Build seems good but wierd vibration motor and sound level issues are kind of annoying. Camera isn’t consistent. But I was expecting all these . Most important thing is myjio app doesn’t recognise it as a 5g ready device even with 5g selected in sim settings. So I’m not able to use 5g as of now. Contacting Myjio and Nothing team wasn’t helpful either. Nothing needs me to bring my phone to service center which is kind of far from me. I might have to take a casual leave to do that. These kind of issues shouldn’t be there since we do pay a price premium.
Updates : True5G works just fine when using already True5G enabled sim. If you were using 4G sim just clear data of myjio, restart then login myjio. Myjio app now detects nothing phone 2 as 5G compatible.
Found average working Gcam mod from BSG and is AMAZING. Portraits, Time lapse works fine but nightsight is meh. Camera hardware is adequate to perform very well with proper tuning which I expect from nothing real soon.
Glyph interface is still a gimmick but definitely a headturner. Speakers are loud with inconsistent in terms of bass. There’s a loud dip sound when switching to Sound profile from silent .
Overall satisfied but not amazed with the product especially for the price over the usage period
