Jatin –
First of all the build of this earphone is superb.
Second the sound quality is good but if you are a bass lover then it won’t be worth. Yes if you are able to customize equalizer settings then its ok.

The volume rockers don’t work for laptop.
Sound is quite good
And noise isolation is good
Good sound quality but wire is weak nature –
Clear difference between high mid and low with required bass…
If you’ve used either of Oneplus wireless Z (1st gen) or Sennheiser CX-180 Street. It’s much similar.

Giving honest review considering all aspects.
I own JBL C200SI, Realme Buds 2, Realme Buds 2 wireless, Oppo Enco M31, Soundcore Life Q35.
And I will compare mostly JBL, Realme and OnePlus here.
How I did my testing:-
Used Samsung Galaxy F62 and equaliser settings set to Rock plus a custom sound option available in the app according to age of the user.
1. Sound quality:- Realme >= OnePlus > JBL.
The JBL was once better than Realme because of much balanced sound but over the time the earphones has deteriorated and so did the sound. That’s why I made the purchase of OnePlus Nord wired. And Realme due to its solid built has still same sound quality.
I listened Electro suite of Spiderman 2 by Hans Zimmer, Ain’t no rest for the wicked, Fireflies and many more and found that the JBL were balanced throughout, not bass heavy. Realme Buds 2 and OnePlus Earphones were a little bass heavy and found that OnePlus was boosting the background music instead of vocals. (Tried switching the equaliser but same result).
So in short for most users – Ideally JBL should be choice but since Realme are cheap you can go for it. OnePlus should be the last here.
2. Price – Realme > JBL >= OnePlus
I had bought JBL in 2020 and it was cheaper than OnePlus’s selling price. Still Realme is a lot cheaper than these 2.
3. Mic quality – Realme > OnePlus > JBL
I can proove this ‘technically’. I used mictests.com website to test the mic of each earphone. And scores of each earphone is.
JBL -1050 (could be due to wire breakage at joint)
OnePlus -1350
Realme – 1400
(Oppo Enco M31- 1200 and Soundcore – 1200).
So wired earphone still have better mic than Bluetooth ones. If you are using it for zoom/google meet/team calls.
I listened to each recorded voice sample when testing and you can trust these figures.
These 3 factors is all what I believe should be considered before buying a wired earphone what else is there to see, like major.
The sturdiness of Realme and OnePlus is same but JBL is not that sturdy, JBL will last 2-3 years max.
Conclusion – Realme are still better choice but if you want a balance output go for JBL considering the price bracket. OnePlus is just a Realme earphone with change of the earbuds shape and rest all is same, yeah the price difference of 200 bucks also. 😉
