I read quite a lot of reviews about kettles and so when I am writing one, I am hoping to include everything that I was looking answers for in a single review… Do reach out to me if I have missed anything…
The kettle has a very shiny nice look to it. The picture what you see is the same thing what you get. The parts that are metallic do get hot, the parts that are plastic don’t, except the top lid which may get a bit warmer
The cordless part is because the cord is attached to the base and not to the kettle. So the kettle can be lifted off the base and used without worrying about any dangling cables… Further, the lid locks nicely in place, thus making the kettle extremely easy to use.
The heating element is concealed so it is that much easier to clean.
Plug is 5A/6A size. So no need for oversized sockets.
The inside of the kettle has minimum and maximum water level markings and not outside as the manual claims. I typically used a one litre Tupperware Bottle to add water to it (which is roughly 1100ml or so). The kettle consistently took between 5-6 mins to boil it. So that’s the time you should expect when boiling the water. The switch on the handle must be turned on manually to start the boiling process. An indicator LED is provided near the lower side of the kettle as can be seen in the picture. The kettle switches off automatically after the water starts boiling.
You can safely pick up the kettle right after the automatic switch-off as long as you restrict yourself to the plastic parts. The handle does not get warm at all. The lid might get a bit warm, but there is no need to open it as the spout is good enough to pour the water out.
I have purchased the kettle primarily for boiling water so I am not going to try boiling milk or maggi, the typical other uses people seem to look for in Electric Kettles. From a purely logical point of view, making maggi may not be a good option since the kettle will switch off automatically once the water starts boiling. Further, at 1350W, the base will get extremely hot in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. This would typically result into the milk burning / sticking to the base. However, I have not tried either of these, and if someone has successfully tried doing these things, then they may be possible…
There are no cons, per se… What I did not like were really small things and most of the people would be very happy to even ignore those, or may not notice. Yet, it is important that I mention them here –
1. The quality of English in their literature is not up to the mark. That’s one thing which gives away the product as being India-made. Typical “Indianisms” like absence of articles, incorrect sentence structures etc are apparent (Read all instructions / Always cut-off kettle manually / contact Authorized Service Centre only for help etc)
2. The min and max markings are inside of the kettle and not outside as claimed in the manual. This makes it a bit difficult to operate. I am not sure if this was a manufacturing defect in this one. The markings, as per the manual, should be on the outside, and on the opposite side of the spout. However, this cannot be done as the opposite side of the spout features the plastic handle. So there is some mismatch between the actual product and the description in the user manual
3. The word “MIN” is punched with a mirror image of N. It is these sort of little things, which show the carelessness in the workmanship of this as well as many India-made products. I sincerely hope our Manufacturers would provide more attention to Quality.
However, this is an excellent product despite these oddities… And at a price point of less than INR 1,000/- (I purchased it for around 800/-), it virtually gives every other brand a run for their money!

Bought this kettle last year on 16th of nov 2017 worth Rs 1090/- only (including delivery charges) after reading various reviews on Amazon & the other few websites. Actually, I was looking for a brand that offers reasonable prices, low power consumption, adequate safety, & at least 1-year warranty .I had looked for many brands like Philips, Murphy Richards, Bajaj, prestige. As I was used to before, this time I hadn’t enough time to research a lot, neither I had seen YouTube reviews to judge whose better or worse, instead chose to go with the customer reviews itself. And I am glad that I listened to my intuition & gave orpat a fair chance. When I ordered it, it had gone out of stoke, so I throw some extra 100rs in delivery expenses & phewww! Finally get the chance to review it with some honest concerns. Now if you consider it on the quality basis, there’s nothing much to say about this 1.2L, medium-sized kettle but this::
“I use it for multitasking & basically like to boil water & made tea or coffee in it, when I pour the coffee in a cup, it has a broad mouth to facilitate easy serving of tea and coffee without any hassles. What I loved most is, it boils water or coffee not more than just 1.5 min, which is much less than any other gas or induction; hence good life hack for any busy man or woman. The bonus point is, it does auto stop itself even when I am doing any other work. 🙂 Some other pros are it requires 1350 W electricity, again not a very big investment for an hour of usage. Easy to handle & transportation. It comes with a separate 360 degree corded base for providing electricity when needed. 🙂 “
The negative points I had noticed so far are when I boil water & drink it, it tastes like it has a small content of plastic comes from a cover lid made for locking the kettle mouth, for this, I do not lock the kettle while boiling the water or tea or the soup etc. The electric cord is small & lastly, get ready to listen to that little “RAINY NOISE” comes while operating the kettle, It will always be there no matter what .;)
The seller was Gauryog & the delivery was prompt. With some normal tidbits, the kettle met my expectations. I am happy with my purchase! Hope the above review will help you to make a right purchase call. If you liked my review please do press YES & encourage reviewers like me to write more often. Thank you!!!!”
