Definitely the best mixer grinder in the Indian market, without a doubt. The unbreakable steel and ABS jars look and feel very sturdy. The jar handles are designed and fitted in such a way that they won’t break or dislodge easily – unlike almost all other brands that we saw. The jar covers fit well, and do not have the clips that many other expensive brands have. The clips can break easily and reflect poor, antiquated design…even a few good brands suffer from this. All jars have a wide base for better stability – something that most other brands have seemed to overlook. Double locking mechanism for high degree of safety. Grinds in an instant – you have to see this to believe! Low noise. 5 years warranty on motor. Good quality plastic and construction. There is nothing in the market today that comes even close to its design and quality. Looks good too.
After the glass jar broke in our Braun blender after 10 years, we could not find a replacement jar as the model has been discontinued. We researched for a good quality mixer grinder for more than a month… It’s not easy to find one that meets all your needs! Finally we settled for the Panasonic MX AC400 after comparing it with a similar quality brand like Philips and with cheaper ones like Bajaj, etc. We already own several Panasonic appliances and all of them are of exceptional quality. We have seen that a good quality product is actually cheaper in the long run, and hassle free too. We chose the four jar model as the extra jars came at a progressively lower price.
Amazon delivered in just three days, free of cost. Without any damage at all, just as you would expect from the pioneer and global leader of online shopping.
Would recommend this to those who are looking for a high quality product and can afford to pay the slightly higher price versus the cheapest ones.

I didn’t regret paying extra bucks to go with the seller with Amazon Fulfillment. Coming to the price offered for this product on Amazon is the most competitive compared to any e-commerce site. Dont even bother looking at retailers as the cost was easily more than a grand or two. I have to specially thank the “Amazing Amazon’s Customer Service” as they took my request for the black color to be delivered although in the product page it was mentioned that color may vary. This shows how customer centric Amazon is and that’s predominantly the reason why Amazon has grown so successful in India in this short duration competing against the likes of Flipkart & Snapdeal.
Coming to the product itself, mixer is equipped with 4 jars, 1 being the juicer. One of the crucial reasons to choose panasonic over other mixers was that the jars had a locking mechanism which is very very handy. Not many notice this hidden feature(if you dont happen to read the manual) is that if the jar is locked firmly on the mixer without its lid being on or locked to the jar and turning on the mixer wouldn’t work which a very good safety feature. I initially thought I had received a faulty product but was very happy to figure out later that the double locking mechanism was a feature in itself. Regarding its performance, it has been good so far and hope it serves the purpose for my mother in the kitchen in the long run. The only con to the product is that the lid locking mechanism with the jar is slightly inconvenient in the beginning until you get used to it.

It can’t get any better than this!! The Panasonic MX-AC400 550-Watt 4-Jar Super Mixer Grinder is simply the best mixer grinder available in the market and easily outperforms all the previous mixer grinders that I’ve owned over the years ( Philips, Bajaj, Sumeet). This mixer provides the finest quality of grinding and blending performance that you can get!! Dry grinding masalas are so finely ground that they pass through a fine sieve without any residue at all!! Wet grinding pastes like 100 gms of soaked poppy seeds into a super smooth paste in less than 90 secs!! 100 grams of roasted Cumin seeds are dry grinded into fine powder in one minute. If you stretch that to three minutes you’ll get the finest ground cuming seed powder that you’ve ever experienced!! All those masala companies selling packaged dry masalas will be put to shame by the sheer high quality grinding performance of the Panasonic super mixer grinder.
I have been using this mixer for a few days and nothing that I have prepared over this time took me 2-3 minutes which is the normal for all mixer grinders. This mixer does everything in seconds!! And that too with a degree of fineness that I have never experienced before in the mixers that I’ve owned. The 550 watt motor is quiet and efficient. The mixer body is neither too heavy, nor too light. It stays in place during the heaviest of grinding thanks to the wonderful suction pads provided at the base of the unit which prevents it from moving or wobbling during the entire grinding process. The mixer is very attractive looking and comes with piano type switches rather than a rotary switch. The mixer body is made of ABS plastic which is very strong despite being light weight. The build quality of the mixer and the four jars is fantastic. You can feel the quality is everything from the heavy gauge Salem stainless steel of the blending and grinding jars to the transparent ABS plastic lids and to the handles as well .
The real beauty of this mixer grinder lies in the design of the juicing, blending and grinding jars. All of them have got sturdy handles with a lid lock which helps the lid to stay in place during grinding without you having to hold the lid during operation. The mixer also has a double safety lock which prevents the mixer from operating unless the lid is attached properly and the blender and grinding jars are locked in place with main mixer body. Only then will the mixer operate. There is also a circuit breaker with overload protection which prevents the motor from burning in case of a overload. The power cord is also pretty long and would satisfy most users. However, there is not cord winding facility provided in the mixer. A minor negative!!
The juicing attachment consists of an unbreakable transparent polycarbonate jar containing a cylinder with nano-sieve and food pusher. You can prepare a wide variety of juices in it and also coconut milk and tamarind extract. This juicer is better than the centrifugal type juicers available in the market. Juicing is less messy and cleaning takes less than a minute. The nano sieve does a superb job in filtering out the seeds and pulp from your drinks. The juicer also contains a pouring sprout with a tight cap. The jars and blades are optimally designed to give you such superior performance that no other mixer in the market will probably be able to give.
The main motor comes with a 5-year warranty but I have relatives who have been using this mixer grinder for over 10 years without any problems with the motor or even common problems like leaking from the jars after a few years which is typical with every other mixer in the market. But not with Panasonic. This is the only mixer to have a oil seal at the base of the grinding jars to prevent any leakage whatsoever even after extensive usage over a period of several years. The mixer is expensive and is priced higher than the other mixer grinders in the market. But then good quality does not come cheap. With this mixer you simply get what you have paid for!! Go for this mixer grinder: the Panasonic MX-AC400. It is arguably the Rolls-Royce of all mixer grinders.
