The biggest jar developed some problem with the blade very early. Rest of the jars are working fine. Best part is the safety features – lid has to be closed tightly and the jar has to fit correctly before it will run. Even though rubber seal is there, leakage happens if jar is more than half full.

I have bought it in 2017 and i would say its value for money as i got 5 jars around 5.5k. The wet grinding big jar got complaints about 5 times between these years and is unuable now. The small one has also been repaired atleast 4 times and works alright. The size just above the small one is not working now. Juicer is working and the dry grinding one is also gone.
The sound has gotten very loud and i am looking for a new one to get this replaced. The whole blade assembly of every jar has become very tight and we cannot rotate those with hand. I think 5 year is not a bad lifetime but i have gone to repair shop a lot of time and spend over 1000 buck on it for those small repairs.

I ordered this product after a lot of research and I was not disappointed. It delivers on most of the features. I love the safety features and I enjoy using the mixer. The only drawback is the juicer attachment, which is not effective. The same jar can be user as a blender to make great smoothies. All in all I think the performance of the machine is really good. I would recommend it.

I bought this Mixer Grinder because I was expecting good build quality like the older Phillips models.
Unfortunately Quality is disappointing.
Motor unit:
Built from poor quality ABS plastic. Molding imperfections are just loud and cheap. They are not using quality white plastic. instead painted possibly the poorest quality black ABS plastic. Press buttons are flimsy and feels like Chinese toys. Screen Printing of markings and brand name Panasonic is the cheapest I have ever seen. OEM supplier must be terrible, and so is the QA.
Jars:
Transparent plastic jar and Jar lids made from same material are of good quality. Jar insert for juicer Jar is of decent quality. Lid locking mechanism is innovative. However In the manual its mentioned that we should hold the lid while grinding. This is not convenient. Jar bases are cheap looking plastic which is not strong. But the Jar base design is nice and stays on surface nicely. Metal Jars are very thin and cheaply made.
Blades are single leaf in all jars (poor quality). My older Phillips’ used to have six leaf blade in grinding jar. This may or may note affect performance. I am not sure.
Overall a very average product. Built cheap. Looks cheap. If I am in their Product design or management team, I will never send such a cheap looking product to market.
This is shocking because, My Panasonic convection oven and vacuum cleaner are very well built. Interestingly these are not made in India unlike the mixer grinder. So Panasonic have a third world approach towards Indian customers which I don’t appreciate.
Check this product at a shop and make your decision because photos wont tell you enough and you can no longer trust the brand names.
I should have bought a Phillips.

One of the best mixer in terms of safety,grinding,quality and also it’s the number one mixer in price segment under ‘7000(Google it for more details)
After seeing the review in Flipkart, Amazon and from web I decided to purchase this it’s really a good deal for ‘5549 and item got delivered on time and there is no Amazon outer box for this product simply they rolled air bubbled sheet over the Panasonic box.
In terms of warranty product comes with 5 years warranty for motor and 2 years for mixer and jar and service center was not located in all major cities but have a look before you purchase it.
Safety of the product is really good if the fitted correctly then only motor will run without knowing this mechanism please don’t allow others to run it and even the mixer won’t run without jar too ….so it’s practically it’s difficult when we face problem suppose when we have problem with motor it won’t run what we think is that we have not fitted the jar correctly so we have to decide that too before buying it’s really a wonderful product go for it.

Build quality of mixer, feels premium
Brand new model, bought in no 2020, this was manufactured in Oct 2020.
Safety mechanism on jars is difficult to understand for starters but then once past learning curve, compliment the use

5 jars, way too many for our use, but for this newer model, had to opt for 5 jars. Other models with 3 jars are older generation model.
Overall net cost 4900 approx, bought on amazon day, with 10% card discount.
Initially were skeptical on motor wattage 550W, but since blades are sharp, they do the job for now. Let’s hope over years the less wattage doesn’t hurt.
Have used once to grind sugar pellets and make mint chutney only so far in 3 days of usage. No complaints so far
Would greatly recommend this to all.
