Look wise it is an okay looking product with features like re-heat and defrost, which one is likely not to use too often. The thing that baffles me is why does it over toasts a multi-grain bread (almost burnt) even at the lowest setting of 1, while a milk bread (white ones) get toasted well at a setting of 2. And since these days more and more people are moving towards multi-grain or wheat or brown breads, this product seems quite useless what with the hefty price tag that it comes with!!
This Panasonic product is a “made in China” (its mentioned at the back) one and it proves that due to our poor quality control system, even a company like Panasonic dumps worthless China made goods in India.
Previously I was using a Braun toaster (German made), which served me for more than 20 years with no hiccups at all. This Panasonic Toaster is a BIG disappointment!

My sister wanted a Panasonic toaster from abroad, but I went to Amazon India site and found the same model for a considerable discount. She has been using it for several months now and finds it very user friendly. The thermostat adjustment lets one have a toast of ones liking e.g. Well done, partial done etc

It is good but it would have been great if it had a covering plate which can be put when it is not in use.

I bought this product as it was from Panasonic and had highest ranking. However, after few operations the popup started giving problem, and required tweaked. Now being sparingly used, its working alright.
