The earbud audio is pretty good but I’m no expert though. I do notice the left bud seems quieter which is new for me but I could be compensating for my last set where the right bud quit on me. The case is pleather… I think, which hopefully will be better in cold weather (-15 C and below on a regular basis for 6-7 months is my home).
Now for the not so good: I find these not as comfortable as my last set of drops360, which were not Luxe. And they seem to pop out more frequently so these are not for jogging (and barely for sitting and walking). Sure I could use the smallest buds set but I found that using them made the audio tinny and thin, but maybe that’s me.
The real good thing is for all the promotion and audiophiles (and what I heard brick stores were selling these for) these are really cheap. So for the price these are 4 stars, but if I was critical and honest these are only Ok.

Let me start out by saying that I have been perchasing Panasonic products for years. I bought a pair of Panasonic’s HJE-70 premium headphones after the first set of Panasonic headphones, which were gifted to me from my father, finally broke. The HJE-70’s were an excellent headphone, providing balance, accurate sound, but did have a few eccentric quirks. I replaced those with the hje355, which were comfy and well built but with a overly warm sound profile.
After this pattern of Panasonic headphone perchases, I started using Samsung headphones since they came with my phone and had the added benefit of including built-in volume controls. After a while though, I was sick of the continued disatisfaction associated with the standard Samsung headphone sound quality. I decided to purchase Samsung’s highest End wired earbuds, Samsung Drop-In, which were a triple balanced armature. They where dynamic, but lacked maturity in the phase between the triple drivers, and had poor build quality.
I am now perchasing Panasonic again, and these headphones didn’t disappoint. They are a great pair of headphones for a great price, offering great build quality, excellent sound that is powerful and rich. I will point out that these headphones would be rated with 4 stars had I not gotten them for the price that I did. This is because of a few issues that I have. First, the fit takes getting used to, and the sound isn’t perfectly balanced. My advice regarding fit is to avoid pushing them in too hard, and carefully adjust them by rotating the bud– I find they work best when the power cord on the bud isn’t pointed straight downwards. The balance of sound I addressed with my phone’s equalizer. Now that both issues are overcome, I can confidently recommend them. They sound amazing, and I know that they will last a long time. An exceptional buy. If you find them for a good price ($45 dollars or less), buy them, you won’t regret it.
