Philips Audio TWS Bluetooth Truly Wireless in Ear Earbuds with Mic IPX5, Touch Control, 18 Hr Playtime (6+12), C-Type Charging (TAT1235, Black)

—Update: Less than 6 months in, and one of the earbuds has stopped working. I have been trying to take this to a service centre but the nearest one is 19 km away. I live on the outskirts of Delhi. Don’t even know how troublesome this will be for people in smaller towns. Would recommend going for something with a little better service support. —

I have been using this pair of earphones for a few months now so here is my experience:

1. The sound quality is excellent. You will get a very balanced sound output that is amazing for both regular audio (such as podcasts and videos) and music. There is no obnoxious bass however so if you’re into that, this isn’t the product for you. The bass too is nicely balanced and not too overwhelming. There is no noise cancellation, but if you have something playing in your ears, you won’t be able to hear ambient noise. Once you stop the sound though, ambient noise becomes pretty much clear. There is no audio bleed which I LOVE. In my duration of use, I haven’t experienced any dropped connections either.

2. The earphones are extremely comfortable, allowing a full range of movement. I haven’t tested how they fare with intense exercise, but they stay put while jogging. You can also wear them all day without any fatigue at all.

3. Ok now to the negatives. There is no way to switch between paired devices. You have to manually disconnect from the device you were using to switch to a second device. It gets a bit annoying at times.

4. The build quality isn’t too good. The plastic lid is a little wobbly and not snappy as other earphones I have seen. Although the case looks good from afar, the moment you pick it up, you can tell it’s kind of “not-premium”.

5. This is the most annoying thing in my opinion: You have to make sure that when you put your earbuds in the case, they are actually connected to the charging connectors in case. I don’t even know how many times I have put my earbud into the case assuming that it will get charged, only to return hours later and discover that the connectors never actually connected and my earphone is still not charged. You have to wiggle it in its place till the charging light turns on before closing. Else you will be in for a rude surprise. The issue gets worse if you drop the case (would NOT recommend).

Overall, I think it’s a pretty good device for the price range. I certainly prefer the sound quality of this pair over something like a pair of one plus buds. If you’re willing to put up with the little issues for the sound (which I would say you do if you’re on a budget and are into good sound quality) then this will suit you just fine.

Eu adquiri esse fone bluetooth Philips pensando que era igual ao que meu irmão tem. Mas eu estava enganado, o que foi bom, pois essa versão aqui é mais atualizada, portanto, melhor.

Acompanha um rápido manual de como usar e 2 pares de borrachinhas em tamanhos diferentes(alguns maiores e alguns menores) e um cabo USB tipo C pra carregar a Case dos fones.

O isolamento dos fones nos ouvidos é tão bom, que aconselho a não usar volume alto demais nas ruas, por causa de acidentes.
Ele também é muito confortável.

Os graves dos sons são bem captados pelo fone, o som é limpo e nem precisa estar no volume muito alto, pois a qualidade do som é extraordinária, e fica melhor ainda se seu MP3 está em qualidade 320kbps.

Diferente do modelo anterior do fone Philips que havia um botão nos fones para as funções, essa versão mais moderna não tem botões, são sensores de toque. Basta apenas tocar de leve no fone.
Tocar uma vez pra play/pause
Segurar esquerdo ou direto pra adiantar ou voltar a música.
É possível atender, encerrar e ignorar ligações, e usar a assistente do Google. Tem explicando tudo direitinho no Manual.
A única coisa que não dá realmente pra fazer é aumentar ou diminuir o volume, pra isso tem que usar o celular mesmo, mas é apenas um detalhe que não interfere em nada. Com exceção do volume dá pra mexer tranquilamente na playlist.

O fone Philips é a prova dágua e suor,
Mas não significa que dá pra tomar banho com ele(isso tbm nem faz sentido) o fone Philips é a prova de respingos de chuva e coisas básicas, não torrentes ou imersões, não dá pra levar ele ao extremo, mas sim, ele é resistente e dá conta do recado em certos climas e exercícios.
