GC1920 is advanced version of 1905 which comes with American Golden non stick plating and other features are same. And coming to the functionality you steam functionality is ok it will not be as superior as advanced version gc2040.\n\nclothes get ironed out neatly in the steam mode. keep an eye on the water level if you are using burst mode as water reduces at a very fast pace

Nice product\nWater spray is nice\nspray water how much necessary\noverall nice product\nweight is light and electric wire is swivel to 180° which is comfortable to do iron\nit have temperature controller switch which have give option to do iron to cloth which is cotton, nilon, etc so it is comfortable \nrequirement temperature of bottom nonstick plate to do iron comes within 1 to 2 min\nso you will going to buy new iron go to this product

Original and genuine Philips Iron exactly same as described and shown in picture. Packing was good and delivery was normal 3 days. I was confused between Dry iron and steam iron but after lot of research I finally decided to go with Phillips GC 1920. Its absolutely amazing and working so smooth. The steam burst is not as shown in picture, In my case what I observe was steam coming from 2-3 upper holes only even after maximum temperature. The water storage is little less or we can say consumption of water for steam is fast. On maximum temperature you can iron 3 shirts with full water. Phillips Customer care said generally new product takes time to function properly. So I will update my review after one week. If problem persist will have to raise a replacement request. Phillips is a brand of trust and have an excellent customer service.

I purchased this Phillips Iron GC 1920. Having very good perfromance. It comes with golden coating sole plate very smooth running on clothes. Steam is fine. After studying Black and decor & Bajaj , Murphy , Usha, Orpat I decided to select the Phillips GC 1920 found best from these brands. I am very old user of steam Irons and my experience steam Irons should be simple and easy to use. It is very easy to use , easy to fill water , easy to empty the tank. \n I recommend all users to use only filtered water which can enhance the iron’s life. dirty tap water may deposit the dust particles etc on sole plate. and It is very Imp to keep empty the water after every use. It will increase the Life of Iron. All clothes does not need steam action. It is very wise Idea to keep a normal simple iron (Without Steam) for normal daily use. and Use this steam Iron only for which clothes who actually require the steam press.

i bought this iron 3-4 months back. it was working fine for 2 months but then suddenly the iron broke. i called philips customer care & they told me that there is no philips service center in my city & advised me to not to go to local mechanic for repair or else the warranty of product will expire. they asked me to handover the iron to a local electronics shop where philips salesmen visit. the salesman took the iron from shop & returned there after repair.\ni can not vouch for the quality of this product, but the philips service is gr8.

It is worthless to mention about flipkart delivery since they are on top of the delivery business. Product purchase was excellent. A nice buy at a decent prize. Performance is good. It fits our daily requirements of pressing the clothes. Heats up in no time. It operates smoothly on clothes. Steam is an additional function to this helps removing tough wrinkles. \n\nAmazing.

I bought this some 2 months back.\nPros:\n1. Sharp edge eases ironing in corners and nooks.\n2. Steams works well. No need to put pressure.\n3. Non stick sole plate is very good. I once burned a cloth. Just wiping the sole plate with a wet cloth removed all stains and looked like new.\n\nCons:\n1. 360 degree swivel cored would have been better.\n2. Water tank capacity is bit less. With high steam setting it evaporates pretty quickly.\n\nOverall, its a good product and I am happy with it.

Despite the high price range, no better than the half the rate products in the market(only not famous). Water leak out as soon as I put it in flat position from the standing position, just after the first use, only the steam which was supposed to come out while ironing never showed up.\n\nMajor disappointment: 1. no steam burst, 2. Steam pores are there but hardly any steam coming out, all despite the high voltage and heating, 3. Plate is a bit sticky.\n\nGood things: 1. enough weight to press the formals, 2. decent cable length, 3. build quality is quite satisfactory (better than Bajaj, Usha atleast)\n\nAnyway m going to return it if they will take it back which is unlikely as I threw away the carton it came in.
