Laura –
Very happy with sound and weight. Could wear comfortably all day. However, had only a month and already plastic that kept ear piece in place busted. Hard to combine durability and comfort
Daniel Rosehill –
Everything on these is okay sound quality and ANC wise. Nothing special but definitely not bad. The main thing is COMFORT, I can wear these for 8 hours through my work day and forget they are even on. They are extremely lightweight and they are the slimmest over ear headphones Ive ever tried. They don’t stick out from your head a lot, very flushed; I love that. They do hug your ears nicely and I have large ears.
Daniel Rosehill –
Very happy to finally own an over the ear pair of Bluetooth headphones (I’m more of a wired guy)
These are fantastic for use at the gym. The sound isn’t mind blowing and could be louder. But for the price I’m happy with them!
Peda R. –
These are quality headphones, but switched to Sony’s. Much better sound quality.
Nathan Dumas –
I got these for $50. I feel like at even half the price, I got ripped off. I can’t imagine ever paying $100 for them.
The deciding factor here is the sound: Phillips seems to have gone the extra mile to make sure the sound is just awful. No distinction, no base, just a noisy mess. It’s more then enough to wrench me out of whatever I’m listening to.
I’ve attempted to fix them via an Equalizer, but the drivers are inherently incapable of making anything resembling even passable sound.
They also seemed to have the default be ANC is on, which destroys sound quality. You have to turn it off every single time you use the headphones. The really kicker as that even with ANC off, the sound is notably terrible.
Which is ashamed. The design, in principle, is great. They’re comfortable, light, and intuitive. I really like how they look.
But Phillips cut just about every corner they could. I bet after one sweat-thru, the earmuffs will fall apart. The thin plastic they used in construction will break under just about any pressure. These will not last.
After a few days of using them, I’ve returned them and gone for a pair of on-ear headphones from a much more reputable brand.
Buyer Beware: think very hard before taking a chance.
