It is no good for the U.K. the plug does not comply with British Standards, and the seller had the cheek to say he had added an adapter! The adapter was for use in the USA. I am still waiting for a refund. However, I consulted an Electrician, and he changed the plug to our standard three pin, and is now O.K. but I would rather not have had all the hassle.

I’ve been wanting a dry iron for some time now. I had a Black and Decker travel iron that I used for more than thirty years, but it finally gave up the ghost. I decided to give this one a try. It took a while to arrive, but it was truly worth the wait. I’m working on quilts and EPP projects that need to be ironed. This iron gets the job done, doesn’t turn itself off, and is very lightweight. My good steam/dry large iron was working fine, but it’s so heavy that I had cramps in my hand the next day. I was so glad when this one showed up. I’ve been using it for several weeks, and it’s working perfectly. I highly recommend it.
