Product base is wide and it’s not deep hence it allows rice to cook very good and not getting over cooked. Also non stick pot it consumes very less oil for cooking biryani and gravy etc. You can easily cook 2 to 3 kg. I am unhappy for little damage like the shape of it is not completely circular it’s slightly dent so I removed dent myself.

This pigeon non stick biryani pot is wonderful. I had ordered 11lit pot, which I got on time with nice packing. You can make 4kg biryani (2kg non veg + 2kg rice) without any fuss. It doesn’t stick to the bottom, and the taste which we get is juzz yummy…. Lid though doesn’t fit tightly can hold nice steam if some heavy object is kept over it. I have given Four ratings coz of the lid. Many of my relatives have liked the pot… The discount on price given by Amazon is quite good. So do order this pot without any hesitation.

This fits 1kg biryani (1kg chicken + 1kg rice) sufficient for 6-7 people. What I liked is that its so wide that I can keep the masala separate and the plain rice separate as uploaded in the pic and this can be done side by side instead of one on top of the other.
MKMA 1960 –
Pot is good, however the handle is too small for pot of this size. One can easily cook 2Kg biriyani with it, possible more but with 2 Kg it was pretty much full with rice & non-veg. I need to check the quality of coating and how long will it last. Generally Pigeon products coating does not last too long.

First of all i would like to tell the buyers / customers that although the product is very useful but there are few cons attached to it. There are three buyers who have mentioned in the reviews section that the product is damaged which is actually true. Because i have also received a damaged product.
I ordered on 15th August, supposed to get it on 23rd August but received it on 24th can ignore it.
But after receiving it i found a big dent to it’s body
Handles are very weak, not sturdy. I feel a part is missing, there should have been nuts/screws in the package to fix the handle properly to the pot.
Also the pot being very big in size, the handles should also have been bigger in size
I need this pot on 27th August so m really upset with this damaged product. In such short time how can i replace it.
