This one my mom had it.. seeing that I bought in Amazon. It’s wonderful biggggg paddu maker. This I am using from 6 months in mom place, it’s still seen new there. So durability looks fair. So one round of 7 paddus fills each of our stomach there. I love my Amazon purchase too..

If you are a Bengali and you have been looking for something to make this traditional ‘SORA PITHE”on Gas oven,you must buy this.This product from “Pigeon” is very sturdy and thick.It does not slide from the Gas oven either.It would have been better ,had it come with a lid.But this is not a deal breaker.What you have to do is to go to a local market and buy a clay made lid(must take the product while buy the lid).Take my word,this very product makes you satisfied.

The paniyarakkal is of good quality. Hope it will last for a while.
The only problem is the base, which is indeed a real concern. The bases has bulges(rounds), which makes it very unstable on the normal stove as it cannot be seated well. If you are not careful, there is a chance that the vessel may slip with hot oil.
It does not have an induction base as mentioned in product details. Hope amazon will correct that.

Item works good but the only one problem which I see is the handle plastic is not good and its become very hot while using.

Product quality is too good. The paddu’s or Panniyarkal come out very neat. Very happy with the product per se.
But then why am I giving only two stars for this? Well even though this product deserves five stars I am giving only two stars because of the unsafe base of this product. The base of this product is a simple ring like structure which rests on the LPG plate. And this ring like structure doesn’t hold on to the LPG plate but slips very often. If you are not careful then there is a very high risk of this hot Wondercast falling on your leg from the LPG stove. So be very very careful about this.
If this very product base is altered by the manufacturer (Pigeon) to suit for induction base, then this product deserves high praise and qualifies for full five stars. Pigeon are you listening to my constructive feedback?
As far as product packaging is concerned I would give five stars to Amazon for the product packaging in a net Amazon carton box.
