The cooker works fine, but the screw in the lid came off and cannot be tightened .I am not able to reach customer support at any of the numbers given.

The whistle keeps giving sound starting from the beginning throughout irrespective of whether idlis got cooked or not.

Though the product is easy to clean and use, the bottom plate cannot be alinged properly as the hole is not properly drilled. I thought pigeon is a good company but the last 3 products I purchased had similar manufacturing defects. The frying pan was received with a broken handle, the infrared cook top was received with a malfunction temperature control knob and this one with a misaligned plate. Got it replaced through Amazone return policy but the quality control is very bad.

I found the product very sturdy. Quality of steel used is very good with right amount of thickness. The space between two layers is adequate with right size of idli being cooked in it. Overall a wonderful product by Pigeon.
